On our day of trekking it rained most of the time. It was still a great experience and our guide Mica made sure the path we travel was the safest / easiest. Given the conditions our pace was slower than normal. We walk for approximately 2.5 hours in and then out. The scenery was beautiful. I think the rain made some of the colors more vibrant.

The stand‑out excursion of our entire South America trip. Our small‑group trek ended up being just the two of us plus one other guest, guided by Manu.
Manu judged the pace perfectly — enough to keep us moving but with time for photos and to take in the scenery. He was informative, thoughtful and even chose a quieter alternative route back from the lagoon so we could enjoy different views away from the crowds. The landscape was absolutely breathtaking and this really is a must‑do experience.
The packed lunch was hand‑made, generous and clearly prepared with care, and we appreciated the hot drink at the lake. Walking poles were provided too, which some people will find helpful.
Pick‑up and drop‑off were smooth and straightforward - the driver was Marcio.
They’re very clear before booking that proper hiking footwear and clothing are essential — and it’s easy to see why. Walking shoes were fine for us, but trainers would have been a mistake.
An unforgettable day and one we’d recommend wholeheartedly.

Julie is a fun and capable guide, which made the trek enjoyable and educational. She offered quick stops to take photos, and the lunch provided was tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and visit to the lake.

We did the activity in mid-December and it was raining the entire day. Yet, the trail was nice and the lagoon color and view was worth taking the walk in the rain and mud.

Well organised, relatively easy hike with beautiful views. You will walk through mud, so hiking boots are a must. A hiking pole is helpful on the way down, but if you are an experienced hiker with good balance, you probably won't need it on the way up.

Excellent guide.
Be prepared for a lot of mud,, boggy sections, roots and very slippery rocks, even on a “dry” day.

What a great day hiking and sharing avout life in Ushuaïa with Violet our tour Guide.
She has been adapting the hiking to the group and what sharing as much in english and spanish. All the details provided to questions were Highly appreciated
The lunch around the lagune was definively a plus. The hiking is very accessible and last in total around 3 hrs.

A guided hike up to the lake which gave a great appreciation of a glaciated landscape and a hint of the wilderness. It's a popular trail and not technically demanding but probably would be more effort when it is very muddy.

Juan was an amazing and professional guide! Highly recommend him for any trekking trips. He arrived on time for pick up and brought sandwiches, brownies, water, and hot coffee/tea for the hike. He set a steady pace for me to follow while providing some breaks to share great info about the history, culture, flora/fauna, and landscape to Lake Esmeralda. Juan was able to take different trails so you felt like you had the whole park to yourself. I would recommend taking the early hike time so you have less people on trail and at the lake to enjoy your views. Definitely follow the item list to bring/wear for the hike. It can be muddy, rocky, and steep on some parts of the trail. No pit bathrooms on trail and at the lake so either hold it or bring a kula cloth. 10/10!

It was such a breathtaking.
Our guide (sorry, I forgot your name) knows a lot about the place, plants, history. He also had to prepare our meals for the excursion. Simply above what I had expected, I totally recommend this agency and our guide such a great man.

This is a beautiful hike! Our guide, Juan, is excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took us on scenic trails that were less crowded. He is also very patient, keeping pace with the slowest person in the group while allowing me to go ahead a short distance. I give him two thumbs up!

Absolutely gorgeous experience! Our guide (I don't want to butcher her name) was so helpful and full of great info, giving us commentary the entire way about the ecosystem and Patagonia in general. Highly recommend the morning trek, the beaver ponds were like glass and the weather was perfection! We all walked around the lagoon and had a wonderful experience overall.

It was our first tracking, and it was so good. There are a lot of spectacular views around you for the whole route. The distance is 10 km, and even if you do not have enough physical activity, you will complete this trip

Great hike to a beautiful lagoon. Quick and easy pickup and dropoff from local hotel. Excellent guide. Boxed lunch was delicious. Even had hot coffee/tea at the lagoon.

Latitude was a great tour company. They were great at communicating ahead of time what we needed to bring as well as what time they would pick us up. The Hike was at a good pace for the group. The tour guide Josephina was very knowledgeable about the area. It was great to have time at the lagoon to enjoy the scenery while having lunch.

Great experience!
Really picturesque trek, quite an easy one.
Our guide Franco took a great care of us and gave a lot of useful tips on trekking.
Also the company provides you tea and coffee in the lagoon) it was cute) really enjoyed having breakfast in such a wonderful nature.

Mariana and Maya were amazing. Positive and knowledgeable. A great hike. When they say wear the water tight boots- for SURE do that! You can rent them in town which is easier than trekking them down to the end of the world. Tour is about 6 hours front to back and an amazing way to spend the day. Don’t miss it. And this tour company is FANTASTIC. Strongly recommend.

Very well organised and small group. Lunch was really nice, best sandwich I had in Argentina. Also the cereal bar was amazing. The best was coffee by the lake. Really loved doing this trek with knowledge guide.
