Great tour. Chris had a good sense of humour and was very knowledgeable. He took us all over the island and recommended an awesome spot for lunch. Only thing is we didn’t visit every stop on the itinerary and there wasn’t an explanation why.

We visited Apia on a cruise and booked this excursion last minute. We had a great day driving around the island, visiting as many sights as we could within the time we had. The driver (Sam) was very friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 8 and all had a great time. Upon return (and just before our ship sailed) we realised we left a mobile phone on the minibus, but luckily we managed to get a hold of the Chief Tai (the operator) and Sam brought the phone to the dock just in time. Many thanks for the excellent communication and customer service!

Georg was a fantastic guide. We were a group of 11 friends on a cruise. Georg was there to meet us when we arrived at the port and I knew from his bubbly personality that we were in for a great day. He was very knowledgeable and very proud of his country. He wanted to show us everything and explain his culture. A great day with a great guide. Highly recommend

An absolutely cracking day out ! Don’t get done over by underwhelming ship shore excursions. This experience really is native and we saw loads of Upolo.
The lunch venue was absolutely breathtaking and extremely reasonable.
Samoa is a long journey across the Pacific and Atlantic for us Europeans but it’s everything that one’s perception of islands in the Pacifiic should be.
Thank you for a warm Samoan welcome and day out on the beautiful island of Upolo.

We had the best time on this tour. Our guide Angel was informative & engaging. The tour was well organised & we got to see all the highlights of Samoa. We would highly recommend it to everyone. We loved Samoa & didn't want to leave.

Easy, convenient pickup. Knowledgable and friendly guide. All the sites were interesting (though we arrived at museum before it opened). Great beach for lunch. Ensured we got hack to the boat in time.

Our guide Christopher gave us great insight into life on the beautiful Island of Samoa. We had time at a beautiful Beach, enjoyed a tasty lunch, viewed beautiful waterfalls, were amazed by the Sua Ocean Trench, and cooled off in the Piula Cave Pool. Just an excellent tour.

We enjoyed our day out with Chris. We saw all of the main historical and cultural sites, plus a number of spots of natural beauty. Chris has a lot of history and Samoan legend to share. It was a great way to see and do the highlights of Apia in one day.

Exceptional Day and Exceptional Tour. The tour is jam-packed so be clear that you want to see many things, not spending a lot of time at each. That is exactly what we wanted; to see as much as we possibly could in our one day Shore Excursion! It was two small vans (about 18-19 people in each). We had a fantastic guide, Earvin in our van, who told us anything and everything about each place and answered every question asked about Samoa all day long. He had a microphone so people could hear in the bus. He stayed around at every stop in case people had questions. The driver was also great and felt part of the group in helping us move quickly through the locations. It is amazing how much we saw. Some people added quick swims to their days at some of the stops. We even were able to have a Samoan picnic (not included in the cost) that was excellent. It was great food and a wonderful opportunity to actually sample local food. The cooks stayed and answered questions on the food as well. The coconut demonstration (and I have seen two others) was the best and most thorough I have ever seen. What can I add, except this is the only group to use for Samoa for any tour!

Our guide George was fabulous, knowledgeable, personable, spoke superb English, and regaled us with stories and legends of the places that we saw. Honestly, we were more impressed with the people, culture and land of Samoa than any other place we have visited to-date on our South Pacific Cruise. Our disappointments were not seeing the market, that the Crater pool was not swimmable due to overnight flooding (not your fault), and that there was absolutely nothing to see where snorkeling was advertised (even though there has been nothing there but dead coral since the tsunami in 2009). The falls and countryside were stunning and our driver was amazing.

George was an excellent tour guide giving us insights into the culture, history and myths of Samoa. We saw waterfalls, beautiful coastline and mountains, had a great lunch at Aja Reef Resort with brief stops at the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum and Bahai gardens.

This tour is the best thing to do in Samoa! Chris is such a lovely person and made our day extra special. The tour itself shows you the beautiful Samoa and takes you to the best beach in the island which is breathtaking. Chris was on time, polite, accommodating to all our requests and very professional. We were on a bus with about 20 people. Our guide was Chief Chris Ma’anema. Is an actual village chief from the other island. He gave us some a narrative about the sites we saw as well as stories about their history. He helped us learn local words. He also did some singing, enchanting. at one of the stops, he changed into his local dress and showed us how to open coconuts as well as some local dances. We stopped at two beautiful waterfalls, Bahaia Temple botanical gardens, Robert Lewis Stevenson‘s home. We highly recommend this tour.

Outstanding tour of Samoa. Beautiful island with stunning waterfalls, meticulously cultivated gardens, and gorgeous beaches and ocean holes. Remarkably clean and well-kept. Chris, the tour guide, is an orator-chief in his village. He was personable, accommodating, and knowledgeable, a wonderful ambassador for his native country that he clearly loves so much. He also demonstrated the art of opening a coconut and sang some Samoan songs. Highly recommended tour of a splendid island destination.

We enjoyed an incredible day of Culture, history, and friendship. George, our guide shared his life experiences growing up in Samoa to bring us closer to the people and lifestyle of the communities that we visited. He shared stories passed down for generations, and gave us a colorful emotional depiction of the nation's history and its colonial past. In addition, we were given the opportunity to snorkel in one of the most pristine locations in the world, the Sua Trench. I say bravo to Tai's tour company.
