Glen was out tour guide and he was outstanding. He took us around Montego Bay, took us to a local place to eat and ended with a beautiful beach stop. We couldn't be happier or more thankful for the time he put in to show us the bad and good about Jamaica.

Roads are in terrible condition making driving unsafe. Traffic in the city reminds me of movies in India - not wide enough for 2 cars, potholes big enough to damage cars. Hosan our driver was skilled and took us to the historic town center and explained how Jamaica gained its independence. We had the best jerk chicken and saw how the poor lived vs the rich. Went where tour buses could not go.

Although our driver was nice we paid an additional amount for port pickup and that's not where we were picked up.It was near a main road and security walked us there. I wanted to see a few historical places but felt I was lead in other directions. When asking about going to a market she called a friend who met us there and of course directed us to her store. Don't go to the market unless you want to be harassed. It was awful. By the time all the just driving through neighborhoods was over I couldn't wait to get out of the car.i almost fell asleep actually.it seemed she had a tour path that she follows and I didn't see any of the sites I was truly interested in.It was 218.00 for 2 of us because I was told the port pick up was a different price than hotel pick up..although we DID NOT get port pick up..I didn't care for it . Wasn't able to see what I wanted..didn't even stop to see beach.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify a few important points so future guests are not misled.
Your booking was made under a hotel pickup tour option, not the cruise ship port option. This is clearly stated in the tour description and confirmation. Because of this, your pickup was scheduled at 10:00 AM at the meeting point outlined for that option.
However, you arrived at the cruise port at approximately 8:30 AM, which is earlier than your confirmed tour time. For safety and traffic restrictions at the port, guests who book the hotel option are required by port security to walk to the main gate, which is standard procedure and explained in our listing.
You also mentioned wanting to see several historic sites that are outside of Montego Bay. This experience is clearly described as a local city highlights tour, and it is not possible to visit distant attractions within a half-day time frame.
To keep groups together and ensure safety, we sometimes use local tour assistants in public shopping areas. We do not own, operate, or receive commissions from any shops, and guests are never required to buy anything.
Regarding the price:
The additional charge you paid was for cruise port service, which is a different rate than hotel pickups due to port access, parking, and security logistics — this is explained in the tour options.

If you're looking for a truly special tour in Montego Bay, I can't recommend Khrisann enough. We booked a private tour, and she was absolutely fantastic—incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her home.
What made this tour stand out was how Khrisann took us to places you wouldn't typically see as a tourist. Leon was FANTABULOUS. He was very friendly and entertaining. He took us around town and provided a history of the island. He also took us to get souvenirs and to eat some authentic jerk chicken and beef patties with coconut bread.
We didn’t want to miss our boat so we cut our adventure short and didn’t get to the beach. If I ever come back to Jamaica I’d contact the same company for this excursion.

the most perfect tour to get out of the resort for a few hours and see the “real Jamaica.” My husband has mobility challenges but we were able to adjust our tour with no issues. We had a great time seeing different neighborhoods, beautiful views over the ocean, and we even had time to stop for some shopping and authentic Jamaican food for lunch. The vibe was relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. We had the best time, thank you!

where do i start? was supposed to begin at 930am, but driver didn't come to pickup area noted in email (apparently didn't want to pay some fee to enter port area), so we had to walk 1/4 mile to where he was. so started at 945am instead. he asked what i'd like to do; i said anything nature/outdoors/animals. he said that was too far away, and he was going to show us the real montego bay. he took us to numerous slum areas with heavy traffic/odors, and got stuck in a back alley by a delivery truck. he stopped to visit with some of his 'friends' who showed us old police station/court/prison and gallows (really!). also stopped to visit friend for coconut and sugar cane. saw nothing worthwhile on this excursion, and he returned us to port area at 1215 (just 2.5 hrs, not the 4 hrs listed on excursion info), as he had another group to chauffeur around at this time. we paid over $200 for this 'experience', and believe we should get a refund. i would not recommend this excursion to anyone. i request a response, along with a refund. would give it zero stars if the system allowed it.

Highly recommend this tour with Khrisann. We wanted to see some of the real Jamaica and Montego Bay outside of our resort so based on the excellent reviews we found about this tour, we booked it and were very glad that we did.
Khrisann picked us up right on time and after we discussed the tour and anything we wanted to see or do, we set off in her very comfortable vehicle. We started with a tour of the Bay area and learned about some of the history, which was really interesting. We went into some neighbourhoods that Khrisann was very familiar with, where we saw a real contrast between how and where different communities live.
We then went downtown into the middle of the city where we had the option of staying in the car or walking round. My partner took the option of a quick guided tour around the historical centre with again a very interesting history background explained.
Because we had mentioned our interest in visiting old churches back in the UK, Khrisann then took us to one of the oldest churches in the Caribbean which we found very interesting, especially with the historical context.
We toured around the Hip strip and took in the views from above, with Khrisann pointing out different locations both nearby and further afield. As we opted not to have lunch, Khrisann very kindly took us to a large supermarket for us to buy a couple of items to take home.
Throughout our 4 hours with Khrisann, not only did she provide us with a snapshot of Montego Bay and Jamaican lifestyle, we also had a really interesting and thoughtful commentary about our surroundings, history and what life is like living and working in Jamaica. This led to very interesting conversations with Khrisann which made the trip for us as much as the tour did.

The tour was excellent. I took one star off because there was a lot of confusion about meeting our tour guide. It took us 40 minutes to find him. We were getting off a Norwegian ship. Our directions said to go through main terminal and the gate and look for person holding a sign. Royal Caribbean was docked at the main terminal. NCL was docked at a smaller terminal and I think our guides should know there are different terminals. We didn’t. After half an hour we found out had to take a shuttle to the main terminal from where we were. A wonderful dock worker helped us. The tour was good after that.
