Highly personalized and intimate tour of local rice fields, coffee roasting, and coconut oil processing plus a visit to a beautiful waterfall/grotto and the monkey forest (black monkeys). Transportation, entrance fees and lunch (local dining) included. Kiki and Kholidi were excellent and knowledgeable guides.

It is a 2 hour ride from the port with quite a bit of difficult walking. It is a very remote village but was interesting to see and learn. Had a surprisingly delicious lunch. Not too many monkeys but saw a few. Semy our driver was on time and navigated the roads with ease. Holidi proudly showed us his village. Description and communication by Johnnytourguide could be improved, but guide and driver did a great job.

Excellent experience with Kiki (driver) and Kholidi (guide).
They were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They took us to learn about the coffee-making process and traditional coconut oil production, showed us beautiful rice terraces, a waterfall, and the Monkey Forest, and recommended a fantastic local restaurant with delicious food.
Everything was well organized and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful and not very touristy excursion. You savor the real lives of Indonesian people, enter their homes and talk to them and their work with rice, coconut and coffee. The waterfalls are beautiful and very wild and the monkey forest is unique. Kiki, our driver, and Dany, our guide, were very kind and cute. They accompanied us and satisfied our every wish. Highly recommended.

We did the tour on August 22nd, 2025.
We had Adam as our private driver. He picked us up from our hotel in Kuta and drove us to Tetebatu without any problem. He was very kind and offered to stop if we needed to buy groceries or use the restroom. After the tour, he also brought us back safely to our hotel.
In Tetebatu, we met Jalal, our private local guide with whom we spent the day. He gave us many explanations along the way about the river culture, the different trees and fruits we saw, and was very kind. It was a real pleasure to walk through the village and rice fields with just my partner and Jalal. The different spots werenโt too crowded, so we could really enjoy the day.

Had a wonderful day with our guide Danny and our driver Semy. They were both very knowledgeable and flexible, and we had experiences that we would not have had anywhere else. The four of us in our group learned so much about local culture and village life. We walked through rice paddies, ate a delicious lunch, saw beautiful waterfalls and forests, and lots of monkeys! A long drive from the cruise port, but well worth the trip!

Excellent driver Jamil and fantastic tour guide Eddie. Be prepared to walk uneven surfaces and climb stairs and rocks. You should be reasonably fit to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

We had an amazing tour of the rice terraces, waterfalls and the monkey forrest! The whole trip was very well organized with the pick-up, lunch and drop-off. Our guides Addy & Umar were very friendly and competent with good English skills. Besides visiting many rice fields and terraces, the waterfalls and monkey forrest, they also showed us around their local village and invited us to many homes were they introduced us to various techniques of farming & food processing. The restaurant for lunch was also very good with a diverse choice of foods. We really enjoyed our day and can only recommend to do this tour yourself!

Our walking tour to Tetebatu was excellent, our driver Sem was perfect, picked up us on time, he's friendly and attentive to small details. The guide Jonny explained everything to us, we enjoyed seeing the coffee processing place, the coconut oil processing and meeting local people. The lunch was tasty and the staff were friendly too. The tour was really the highlight of our whole stay in Senggigi. Do not miss it!!!!

Great way to see waterfalls, rice fields and monkey forest in one day! Local guide Eddie made sure we could go as fast or slowly as we liked which we appreciated. Driver and host Jamil and Iwan were very friendly and entertaining which made the drive go quickly!

Authentic walking tour through traditional villages and rice paddies. You get to stop along the way to taste local fruits, spices, coffee and tea. Our guide and driver were top notch! We ended up seeing two waterfalls as that was enough for us! Had a lovely lunch in a locally run warung and loved seeing the shy black monkeys in the quiet monkey forest.

If you're you're looking into an intimate authentic and adventurous insight of traditional Lombok culture, flora and fauna, this tour is a must.
Our formidable guide Eddi showed us (just me and my wife) how to make traditional coffee, how rice is being produced, how the women make coconut oil, 100's of different plants and animals, a fantastic waterfall ( we skipped the second one due to my wife's pregnancy), the monkey Forrest with wild black monkeys (don't worry, they are shy and won't steal your shiny things), a beautiful meal in the local restaurant and so much more. Fantastic.
What impressed us the most is how inviting the whole village was and that it is a small local company. My wife needed a bit of support on certain parts and Eddi and his helper were always there and adapted to our pace and needs. The environment is absolutely stunning and serene and the climate was quite a bit milder than at the coast.
Enterprises like these really support the local community and create a beautiful atmosphere for very little money.
6/5 stars. Highly highly recommended.

Such a great tour! It was amazing to see the process of the rice fields, coffee, & coconut. We got to see many monkeys in the forest followed by one of the best lunch/meal we had our entire trip & finished with the amazing waterfall. Our tour guide was informative, funny and had wonderful information to share. Highly recommend this tour!

My friend and I had a great time on this excursion and really felt as though we were able to get close to the culture and terrain of the local area. Our guide was kind, incredibly accommodating, and shared a lot of insights. One recommendation is to wear water shoes when visiting the waterfalls - it's a bit rocky and might be more comfortable.

It was a trip that fully enjoy the culture, industry, and nature of Tetebatu.
Our guide, Edi, was very charming and knew a lot about the flowers and trees growing along the way. The people in the village of Tetebatu all knew each other and talked to each other, making it a very peaceful.
On the way back we unexpectedly met a local wedding and our driver let to us stay&see it. Very enjoyable day.

This was less of a tour and more of a supervised walk. We saw some interesting parts of Tetebatu, like the rice fields, the coffee making and the coconut oil production. The waterfalls were very pretty and the lunch & monkey forest was nice. However our guide didn't really speak or understand much English at all, so there wasn't any real "guiding" per se. He led us around and gave us some limited info when he could. You could almost have done the tour yourself. For the price we paid, we would have expected a bit more. Our driver was really lovely though and told us some really interesting things about Lombok on the way there and back.
