My driver was incredibly friendly, on time, driving a very clean and nice car, and I was the only passenger which was a perk! I’d definitely recommend this service. Waiting for a coach bus after the cruise would have really stunk and I’m so glad I opted for this service. It’s worth it!!

We will never use viator again. British air canceled our flight and rebooked us frto a flight 6 hours later and instead of Heathrow airport they sent us to London city airport. We asked viator to adjust our plans and bring us to London city airport because this was out of our control and they said “no because they have a no change rule policy no matter what”. We asked them to please be flexible and they refused. We will never use viator again nor will we recommend anyone to use viator.

The ride was good from Southampton to London, but there was no identification of the shuttle or the driver at the ship terminal. No placard, no identification. We found the coordinator after an hour searching among the multitudes of passengers.

My husband and I were on a Celebrity cruise ship and booked transportation from south Hampton cruise terminal to Heathrow. Our driver left us because the ship was late docking. We were assigned numbers for leaving the ship and left the ship later than expected. We had to pay for a cab to Heathrow, plus the cost of Viator. Very unhappy customer.

Thank you for taking your time to leave us your feedback on our Cruise Shared Ride Service to Heathrow Airport. I totally understand your frustration with the cruise company which allocated a later disembarkation time, therefore you were not able to meet our driver in time for the service. The shared service leaves the cruise terminal by not later than 8:15 am, which is specified on the booking details. A day prior to you arriving in ports you did called through to the office, to inform us that you will be disembarking later than schedule between 8:45 am to 9 am because the ship was running one hour behind schedule, this was confirmed with other passengers on your ship therefore the departure time was changed to 9:15 am for all passengers off your ship. On the day of the service the other passengers on the shared service met our driver before 9 am, and we waited an additional 40 minutes before leaving the terminal we attempted to call your cell phone which went straight to voice message, we would've waited longer but the other passengers that met our driver before 9 am were getting very frustrated that we have not left the terminal as they were told that the service will leave at 9:15 am. We tried to call you on multiple occasions we sent you emails explaining what was happening on the day with no reply. Again I do want to apologise for leaving you at the cruise terminal, but we had no choice, when booking a shared service you are not the only passengers on the service. We have to take into consideration the other passengers who have booked the the same service and who have met the driver within the specified time.

Shared ride to Heathrow

With a pre-paid ticket for the two of us from Southampton to Central London, we arrived at the Arrival Point, on time, only to discover after a one hour’s wait that the “shared ride” had not waited even for a moment for us to get off the ship and get our luggage. It was advertised that it would not wait until after 8:15 AM, but we discovered that our arrival at the earfliest time shown, 7:30 AM, meant that we had already been left at the dock. My advice will be, from now on, never sign up for a shared ride.
