We had a great time rafting on the Ganges in Rishikesh with our guides Ajit and Vishal! We went through several rapids, with a couple being pretty intense but not so intense that we ever felt unsafe. The guide explained everything to us in detail before we started and made us feel very safe and well taken care of. There is also a second guide that goes with you in a separate kayak to act as a safety backup. You will definitely get wet on this trip, so dress accordingly ;-) There are several rafting companies in Rishikesh, and when you arrive in town, you will find just about every other business is selling some type of rafting trip. I am very glad we didn't book with any random company and instead booked with Red Chilli Adventure because they took great care of us, put safety first, and had much better equipment than other companies that we saw. Definitely recommend for a great half-day adventure in Rishikesh!

The Shivpuri rafting was the perfect mix of thrill, fun, and exploring. I liked that between the rapids, we also had time to take in the beautiful scenery and swim. Our guide Dave gave us a thorough briefing and a rescue kayak was part of the outing which made us feel very safe.

Amazing experience. The person handling and leading rafting was experienced, friendly and skilled. He made us enjoy the entire experience. The 3 kayaks for safety n rescue were cherry on the cake and very active and made us feel more relaxed

This rafting experience was one of the best of our whole trip to India. The staff at the office are professional and courteous, and our guide in the water was fun and super friendly. We highly recommend this experience to everyone! The rafting was magical but we also stopped for a dip in the water, and had a chance to take a plunge off a high cliff into the cool water. He had a GoPro so we were able to have pictures afterward, and made some new friends from our rafting team.
