The day before we had a meeting at the Zenit agency to find out more details about what the day would be like, and also to try on the trekking boots. We went up in a small group with 4 guides, all of whom were very friendly and communicative. The climb was tiring, but the stops and the enthusiasm of the guides made all the difference in regaining energy and moving forward. Unfortunately we were unable to reach the edge of the crater, as it is prohibited at the moment (due to the intense activity of the volcano). But it was really good nonetheless! The descent was also a lot of fun, sliding with the board ("skibunda"). I highly recommend this tour with Zenit!

Je ne sais pas ce qu'il faut "noter". Si c'est l'organisation et les guides, c'est "Excellent". Si c'est mon expérience personnelle, Zenit n'est évidemment pas responsable de la météo, très variable et aléatoire au Chili, et que mon programme ne me permettait pas d'attendre 2 jours la bonne météo. Le jour de mon ascension elle était épouvantable, notre groupe de 3 + le guide est le seul arrivé ce jour-là au bord du cratère en ne voyant même pas l'autre bord (10m de visibilité). La descente a été cauchemardesque pour moi, je ne voyais rien avec le givre dans mes lunettes, grosse crampe à la cuisse gauche au quart de la descente. Ça s'est quand même bien terminé. Donc allez au Villarica mais avec une plage disponible d'au moins 4 jours et la possibilité de décaler vos autres activités pour donner la priorité au volcan...

Félicitations pour avoir atteint le sommet malgré le mauvais temps, nous ne pouvons pas gérer cela, mais s'il y a une chance d'atteindre le sommet et que les passagers n'ont pas d'autre jour, nous essaierons, avec la sécurité et l'attention que cela mérite. Nous espérons que vous reviendrez profiter d'une journée ensoleillée et escalader le volcan d'un point de vue différent !

Subimos o Vulcão Villarica no dia 13/11/2024, e foi uma das experiências mais enriquecedoras da viagem. Realizar o passeio com a Zenith foi, sem dúvida, uma excelente escolha. A agência fornece todo o equipamento necessário para a escalada e conta com guias excepcionais, que possuem vasto conhecimento e experiência sobre o trajeto. Os guias foram fundamentais nos momentos mais desafiadores da subida, quando o cansaço aumentava, e posso atribuir aos cuidados, paciência e atenção deles o sucesso em atingir o ponto final da trilha. Agradeço a toda a equipe da Zenith (Agustin, Luiza, Leo, Edgar e Jorge) por essa marcante experiência.
