The whole team were superb. Our all girl crew absolutely rocked and our skipper was soooo good. Ellie was also fab and was really knowledgeable about the ocean, coast and wildlife. Don't miss this fabulous experience, we would highly recommended it and saw many albatross, NZ and Australian seals, dolphins and stunning coastline.

Fantastic experience, worth every penny!! The boat and crew were incredible and the stunning views and wildlife were perfect. We were lucky enough to be joined by a pod of dolphins playing beside the boat and showing off just for us.

A must do experience

Remember to dress warmly, as the wind is cold and strong. There's so much to see. We had perfect conditions but regardless of conditions I recommend doing this trip.

Fun adventure tour

What a fun tour! Would strongly recommend as this is an awesome way to see Tasman island and the surrounding natural beauty. We were very lucky and saw lots of albatross, two types of dolphins, and two types of seals along with other birds. Our driver expertly managed to drive the boat quickly and safely. The waters are choppy and we were going fast. If you’re prone to motion sickness try to pretreat, but they did give us some ginger before we started. Would recommend if you feel up to the adventure!

Fantastic experience! The deckhand and skippers were friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent commentary throughout the tour. The scenery is absolutely spectacular and at the spots we stopped for photos, the skipper turned the boat around multiple times so everyone could get a view and photos. Wildlife included seals, dolphins, whales and albatross. Rug up even if it’s sunny! 10/10 recommended!

Ocean, Rocks, Whales, Albatrosses and Seals

It was a fantastic cruise. The weather was perfect. No seasickness on the boat at all, despite the waves. Beautiful views of the tube rocks. Cormorants, black-browed albatrosses, fur seals. And a treat for us were several humpback whales jumping out of the water and flapping their fins.

Tasman Island cruise

Excellent boat trip on the open ocean along the stunning cliffs of the Tasman Peninsula, Tasmania where we saw dolphins, albatross, and whales some of which came right up to the boat. Rug up though because it can be cold.

We went on the Tasman Wilderness Peninsula Cruise and loved it. We did not have a sunny day but at least the rain stopped and apart from low visibility We saw various Whales and Seals. The Staff were friendly and professional, especially Ashleigh, who went over and above looking after all customers

Awesome Tasman cruise

Our skipper and deckhand (Tom & Jonty) were super helpful, knowledgeable and gave a very relaxed tour. Bad dad jokes made it extra enjoyable. They extended the time frame to give us the extra experience to see humpback whales and 2 pods of Orcas

Family day out to the Sea

This ferry ride is good value for money. Hosts from Pennicott are very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They ensure safety and well being of all tourists throughout the ferry ride. They share a lot of fun facts along the way. Icing on the cake is there are lot of places to see in and around Port Arthur. If you have a rental car, you can drive to other places soon after the ferry ride to see beaches, have good food and also shop exquisite lavender products.
