Overview
Hop in a kayak and paddle from Palm Cove to Double Island, where mangroves and coral reefs await. Bring lots of water & a small snack. Wear shorts & swimsuit, you’ll get wet! Our guide Luke was very friendly & relaxed but extremely knowledgeable. Loved it!

Lovely trip and easy activity for all abilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. It mentioned fruit and juice snack as part of the trip booking blurb but it was not provided on the day.

We had a great time on the kayak tour. We saw a few turtles they went back under water fairly quickly again but we also loved swimming on the island and going in a small cave on the island also.

Great hosts,great location,it’s a must if your in palm cove,turtles,dolphins and stingrays where seen while a quick paddle into the caves on Double island

Had an amazing morning kayaking out to Double Island. Andrew was a fantastic host, lovely guy and knew the best spots to see some turtles. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
As it’s only a half day activity there was still time to explore Palm Cove and have lunch nearby.
Don’t forget to bring your water and snacks!!

Early morning start to see a wonderful sunrise. Only saw a couple of small turtles in the distance but still a good experience.
As a first time kayaker I didn’t find it too hard.

Absolutely perfect weather. Very informative leader - learnt so much about local marine life and the area. Great mix of paddling, drifting, walking, swimming/snorkeling. Saw turtles, rays, shark, fish and many birds. Thanks guys for a great experience.

The day was too windy so unfortunately no turtle trip, BUT they had another river trip planned and that was great as well. The guys running this are lovely, passionate and great for beginners. A truly relaxing experience.

Overall, I was disappointed with this tour. They did not deliver on what was promised. It clearly states in the information provided for the tour that you would get a morning tea on arrival at the island. No morning tea was provided. The ad also says that snorkelling equipment would be provided. There was no snorkelling equipment offered. The tour guide was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions when asked but spent an excessive amount of time on his phone. We started seeing some turtles, but unfortunately, we didn’t spend much time in this area before we moved on, which was disappointing. We also returned 20 mins before the tour was due to end; it was a beautiful day on the water, so not sure why we came back early. On the positive side, no previous kayaking experience is needed, and the islands and surrounding waters are stunning. I just wish the ad had been more accurate when stating what to expect on this tour.

Fantastic tour, saw lots of turtles bobbing their heads up from the sandbank. Loved exploring double island too. Guides are fun, knowledgeable and supportive.

Andrew and Luke were amazing they were knowledgeable friendly and more importantly they made this tour the best of our holiday. We saw turtles, sharks, bats and even had a look on the Double Island Resort where Keanu Reeves stayed when he filmed the Matrix. The tour was beautiful and relaxing whilst taking in the gorgeous scenery of the area.
