A very good, entertaining and informative tour. Jen made everyone welcome and conducted the tour very professionally.
The guide, Sam, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and explained the history of Nottingham clearly. I really enjoyed the experience.
A great get-to-know-Nottingham tour. Sam is a great guide and explained all the highlights well, including some of the myths.
The walk is fairly hilly and has uneven walking surfaces like cobblestones, bricks etc. The route gives a good overview of the city town center including historic sites and architecture. We had a really amazing and knowledgeable local guide. She (Sam) was happy to answer all our questions and she covers very important and significant parts of English history especially as it relates to Nottingham. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Best way to hit the highlights of Nottingham. Jen was amazing! Her knowledge and humor was the perfect combination.
Prepare to learn things you wouldn't catch otherwise. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The Nottingham walk is a little hilly, but not steep. It's more gentle inclines up and down.
A very nice (if a little brief) 1.5 hour tour! Jen was great and answered all our questions. Nottingham is a lovely city!
This was an incredible tour. Our guide, Sam, was incredibly knowledgeable, she was funny, and so kind. Nottingham has so much history. All along our tour, Sam suggested other places to go and see during our stay. I’d highly recommend this for anyone traveling.
Thoroughly enjoyable tour around Nottingham. Learnt some very interesting facts and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will be back again later in year to do the underground caves.

Jen is a history buff and was a font of knowledge about the historic area of Nottingham.
Our local guide Jen was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. She did her best to point out all the areas of interest this lovely small city has to offer. St Mary's Church in the Lace Market was particularly interesting and beautiful inside. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, and would book another tour when travelling.
I visit Nottingham a lot, but this was the first time on my own, so decided to learn more about the city.
Sam is a friendly, funny and very knowledgeable tour guide for her home city. We walked at a comfortable pace through the city that, other than the shops, I'd largely ignored.
I've learnt enough to want to go back to explore the areas we visited in more detail. Highly recommended.

Guide was very knowledgeable, tour is well worth booking, you learn a lot about the area. Nottingham as a lot of history that we didn’t know before taking the tour.
Apart from website not correct . I was advised by operator 2 days in advance tour was not operating. They needed 2 minimum. I understand that, but middle of Summer?. I always use Viator. I went once in Muscat yet long tour operated with only me. I feel I can't trust the UK operators. Have a tour to Whitby from York booked. If this is cancelled, not worth me going.

Hi Peter, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we would like to take the oppurtunity to apologise for the disappointment.
We have a two person minimum in order to cover our guide's wages, and tours of one person would result in a loss for us, which as a small company is unsustainable unfortunately.
We did try to let you know in good time that we were unable to run the tour, so hopefully you were able to make other plans, and enjoy time in Nottingham. As a standard, if we ever have to cancel a tour we also advise on our next running tour, which in this instance you decided not to join so were refunded in full instead.

"Look up" the tour guide encouraged which I loved as far too easy to miss architectural gems when chatting away & not looking above street level.
Art Deco, Georgian, Victorian Nottingham buildings & places brought to life, with stories of the people & significant developments of Nottingham city through the ages on this really enjoyable 1 & half hours group tour.

Sam brought the books on Nottingham history. She’s a real ambassador for the community. The back story on the castle and the lace district were particularly intriguing. The city building interior is beautiful and the architecture of the city is very unique in its mixed styles.
