We had a scenic flight over a beautiful area of Provence. The balloon operator was very thorough in safety measures and told us about the river we flew over and the different scenic towns. At the end we saw several lavender fields and even landed the balloon next to a lavender field. The flight started with a lovely breakfast while balloons were being prepped and finished with sparkling wine at the end. I loved how local rose syrup and local lavender syrup were brought to add to the beverages. What an amazing morning... and all before 9 am!

The balloon ride was cancelled due to bad weather as we were standing in the field where we were due to lift off. The crew was very apologetic and explained why it would be dangerous. My husband and I completely understand. However the crew members told us to call the main office to reschedule for the next day. When I called, the person who answered the phone was unhelpful and rude. I was told that it was impossible to reschedule, that nothing could be done, and would not take our names and phone numbers so someone else could help us.
French customer service is very poor.

Firstly, we are terribly sorry that your flight was canceled on the takeoff field. The weather forecasts remain a forecast and are not 100 % accurate. Secondly, I apologise for your reception at our reservation service. I hope it was just a question of misunderstanding or translation while speaking English.

I thought the pilots and crew were great. Very professional and skilled. I have no issue with that aspect of the trip. But I was severely disappointed we didn't fly closely over any lavender fields. We are in Provence during the height of lavender season and It's in your photo on this site!!! I was hoping to experience seeing the fields from overhead. Didn't know it was just the towns. You should make that clear in your description. Can't give it a high rating for that reason.

Very well organized and professional. Felt safe at every time. A fantastic experience which can only be recommended. Start was at 04.45am and we were in the air for 59 minutes. Back to the hotel in time for breakfast and a full day of other activities.

All the staff on the day of the flight were fantastic , it was an amazing experience.
If I could give advice, way too many emails in advance , and a map detailing pick up point would be good . As finding said pick up in the dark at 5.30 am isn’t easy ,

Excellent crew with immense skill in flying and entertainment. Made us feel comfortable from the start. Called us themselves a day before to confirm and shared details at every stage. The experience includes witnessing the inflation and deflation of the balloon (deflation process let’s the visitors become a part of the process which is an excellent touch and use of crowd effort). They end by a round of toast with high quality regional wine. Highly recommend! I would say the English guide is not as extensive as French but once you are up there, you just need to live the experience and don’t miss the guided tour.

Nous avons offert ce vol à ma Maman pour fêter ses 90 ans (née le 02/07/1932) et avons eu la chance de le faire le jour même de son anniversaire.
Toute l'équipe est extrêmement sympathique, très professionnelle, très bienveillante, joyeuse, passionnée et pleine d'attention et de partage.
Nous avons passé un excellent moment qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes et même plus.

Vraiment depuis une semaine nous voyons que le temps est plus qu’incertain!
La météo nous avertit que les orages sont prévisibles (70 % à 90 %)
Nous demandons à changer de date ils nous répondent que non alors que leur calendrier laisse cette date disponible il fut impossible pendant 24 à 48 heures de les joindre et ils nous préviennent la veille à 18 h que le vol est confirmé
Nous avions réservé bistrots hôtel depuis plus d’un mois et sommes partis pour cette belle aventure qui s’est terminée en fiasco puisque après un réveil plus que matinal (4h30 du matin) que nous sommes arrivés sur les lieux pour nous entendre dire que la météo ne permettait pas ce départ …or une demi-heure après nous avions un temps superbe et ils ont osé dire que les météorologues n’était pas fiables et que leur météo n’était pas la nôtre! Nous étions nombreux , et sommes repartis dépités 😞
