I really enjoyed our tour at the Mercara coffee estate. We had a very enthusiastic guide and the tour even included a look in the production unit and the brand new coffee museum at the estate. The tour was concluded after the closing time of the cafe, but the staff was so friendly to stay late for us.

Detailed tour of the plantation - entire coffee making process and of the other species in the plantation. Mr. Salim the tour guide was very knowledgeable and patiently answered the questions. Enjoyed the delicious lunch prepared to Coorgi style. Very nice store and purchased their coffee and other items.

Knowledgeable guide Mr Murugesh. He explained everything in detail. History of coffee growing was clearly narrated. Different varieties of coffee & other plants grown in the estate were shown explaining the details.
Tips for improvement; Sitting area is below average. Washroom is unusable & dirty. For the amount charged facilities are not adequate. Cleanliness needs lot of improvement.

Hello,
First and foremost thank you for your visit to our estate.
We regret that you found some of our facilities under par. It is for this reason that we are now in the process of construction of new washrooms and as a result of that activity there is some disruption. The facilities will be completed in the next 2 weeks and there on we expect to provide a much better experience.
