Great tour for all ages of Durack homestead, Lake Argyle and Ord River cruise.
Tour guides were very informative and kept it interesting.
Spectacular cruise back to Kununurra!
Jeff the tour guide was very knowledgeable about lots of things.
Sunset was stunning
This was an amazing day. The homestead visit was very interesting the guide there gave a brief overview of the museum, told us about the resident bower birds and was anything but boring. He showed us the bowerbird’s bower as an extra.
The small gift shop has a wide range of things to buy at reasonable prices with all proceeds going to the maintaining of the museum. Our coach driver also gave us a number of interesting facts along the way. He was a very safe on the roads.
The dam is just as worth seeing in a very different way.
The boat cruise was not at all as I expected- so much more fun and interesting. Chris was excellent. Afternoon tea in a sheltered area near the only waterfall still dribbling at this time of year.
Saw a range of wildlife including kingfishers, ‘freshies’ and white bellied eagles. Finally the sunset in the river.
All in all a really great day. Thanks to everyone involved.
Pick up time on this one was the time stated on the ticket.

Chris, our bus and boat driver was so good in making the trip a great experience. The whole afternoon was setup with something always around the corner to see. The afternoon tea was delightful and in such a great relaxing location, sunset ended an afternoon of enjoyment.
An easy paced tour and beautiful place to visit, so much history, flora & fauna. The tour was so well run by very friendly, knowledgeable & efficient staff. The visit to the relocation farm house was fascinating & Joey’s commentary & wealth of both local & international knowledge was outstanding. Wonderful tour of the area.
A awesome experience. Fantastic scenery and staff are excellent.

Fantastic tour, definitely recommend. Joey was so informative, afternoon tea beautiful, magic sunset to finish a great day.
This was an amazing half-day tour.
Pick-up at my accommodation by coach, amazing views of the Ord Top Dam, scenic cruise on the Ord River, tasty afternoon Tea, stunning sunset, photo stops for Crocodiles & drop-off at my accommodation by Coach are memorable highlights.
Special thanks to Coach Driver Hazel & Boat Captain Joey for their informative commentaries.
Wonderful luxury bus with Joey as captain, very informative. Exhilarating boat trip back up the Ord with Justin, he certainly knew how to ride those rapids. Lots of fun and photo opportunities and delicious afternoon tea with pumpkin scones and red papaw
The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. You would not have seen the sights we saw if not on this tour.
Fantastic 55km ride to lake argyle dam wall with hydro plant spurting out millions of litres into ord river. Great sightings of crocs birdlife and pirrhanna acting catfish waiting for a feed of crumbs. Joey was our skipper great knowledge and banter beautifully presented pawpaw pumpkin scones and banana muffins. Beautiful sunset. The best cruise 🚢
Our boat captain was very informative but would have been better if he used a microphone. The cruise was great, the scenery was great and the afternoon tea by the riverbank was excellent. Well worth the money
Breathtaking scenery with highly informative and entertaining commentary.
Lake Argyle and the Ord River are spectacular and Joey and Hazel are highly engaging, knowledgeable and funny (in a good way)
Excellent tour by an informative tour guide, beautiful scenery with an abundance of wildlife, 2 thumbs up.
Fantastic trip from the moment we stepped on to the bus at the start of the day until we got off it at the end of the day.
Boat skipper Jeff blended his spiel with humour, facts and figures, a splendid map and superb timeliness that matched his skill in boatmanship. It was a terrific tour and Jeff was a well oiled machine in delivering such a wonderful tour of “his office”
Informative skipper with a uncanny knack to spot and talk about all forms of wildlife along the way a must do tour on the bucket list
Beautiful scenery, great Guide, a wonderful day all round, I highly recommend this tour, it has a lot of knowledge and Beauty, we loved it..

Dave the bus driver, Dylan boat captain and offsides were fantastic
Especially Dylan with the knowledge and history of the area and keen eye for fauna. Best 6 hours you could have.
Afternoon tea was great. Lovely food
This tour is a must
Timely and informative bus drive to Durack Homestead and dam; Shady boat and afternoon tea area; entertaining and informative commentary by skipper Marina ; dietary considerations made; and awesome scenery!
Great afternoon, we were collected from our accommodation to meet the boat at Lake Argyle where our skipper Lucas then took us for an amazing few hours down the Ord. Lucas gave an interesting & comprehensive commentary on the Ord scheme, history, wildlife, set out a lovely arvo tea, above all made us comfortable & was entertaining too! Pretty comprehensive really. Definitely recommend!
Spectacular scenery. Lovely “hiding spot “ for afternoon tea. Geoff was a very knowledgeable guide! Highly recommended
