Fully Jamaican experience at Maiden Cay

If you are looking for an authentic and fully Jamaican experience, this is the one for you! I think I may have been the only non-Jamaican on the entire boat, but that didn't stop me from enjoying myself. I booked this trip last minute because I was in town for a work conference and had a free day on Sunday and decided that I wanted to spend it on the water. Food was just ok, but the drinks were STRONG. Water was perfect. Music was jumping and the crew did everything they could to make everyone enjoy the day. Took an Uber out from my hotel in downtown Kingston, but would maybe recommend booking a committed driver to come back at a certain time since finding an Uber to return was a bit challenging (but it thankfully worked out!).

Be prepared to be smothered by marijuana smoking. The safety announcement regarding non smoking was clearly just because it was required. Everyone including majority of the crew were smoking pot

The whole experience was shame. The boat left late, so the sunset excursion was missed. I am making formal complaint.

Complaint re poor quality of food, no options available. The boat left late and the sunset experience was missed. The genre of music was for Under 30 years old. Viator you do need to experience or keep updated with facilities company offer to the vulnerable public. I will be demand a full refund for a terrible experience.

The boat was an hour late with no explanation. It was a full blown photo shoot where you had to move out the way for the photographer. Not impressed at all. The pick up was in the dark outside where you could see in front of you to get to the boat. Not worth it at all

The boat was late and very unorganized. There was no communication. We arrived to were .any of the companies were parked, just dropped off to entertain ourselves for over an hour. Not very please with the activity overall.

Tour started an hour late. Once on board the vibes were not there. No real concept for food and beverage. Only thing that was good was the DJ. Just wish the staff got people up and moving and dancing.

This was a fun little excursion worth the money and time! We had good vibes and high energy. The crew was fun and professional - even as a solo traveler I felt and safe. Be prepared to let loose. The Lime Cay beach was gorgeous- really a treat if you are looking for a little adventure on a Sunday morning!

Me and my friends were visiting from America. We had such a good time. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The dj played such a great mix of music. The vibes are definitely unmatched. Definitely something to do on a Sunday.

We had a great time on this trip. The moment we step on the cruise, really good music was playing (and the DJ continued to play great music throughout the trip). There was food provided, but I didn’t eat since I wanted to play in the water more. The customer service was excellent because they keep bringing us drinks into the sea. I’ve never had that in my life before! It was so nice to talk to the staff and owners too. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Most importantly, Maiden cay and the sea was sooooo beautiful that it just made the trip perfect!

Refund promised but not received

There was a problem with the music and the boat returned to the dock after one hour. The tour operator promised a full refund which I have NOT received. Others we traveled with already received their credit. I am disputing this charge.

Good Day, please note that to get a refund you have to make that request through Viator who will contact the Supplier for approval. Loose Cannon Tours did not collect the money and therefore can not do a direct refund as Payment was made directly to Viator.

The vibe was great. The music was great. The staff was great. The drinks were great. The food was ok. The private island was below expectations and it was not clear that we would have to swim out to the island and leave our things including towels and personals on the boat.

The view of Kingston harbour from the boat at night. The lights were amazing. I have done many tours in many cities in Europe and to be honest, this cruise was so relax and easy to cope with. Tour guides were polite and eager to help. The boat was clean, and there was plenty of smiles about.

Truly a unique Kingston experience. The team on board were very welcoming and set the vibe from the beginning. From the food to the unlimited drinks to the pure vibes and entertainment. I definitely recommend this cruise. We went on Sunday. The boat docks and they allow you to get off and swim to the small beach there. If you can’t swim the lifeguards will help you stay afloat. Definitely going to come back.

This was a fun experience. I think we went on a quiet night but all the guys who work the boat are very good for getting the party started and getting people on their feet. The DJs insisted on playing Jamaican music which was great. Food options could have been a bit more varied but there was plenty of food for everyone on board. This is not a touristy tour, it’s a party boat so not for those looking to see the sites. A fun, safe activity to do at night in Kingston.

Had a great time on the Friday night cruise that I decided to do the Sunday cruise as well. Great time, great staff, great food and booze. You are even being served on the beach. A fantastic way to kick back and relax and enjoy yourself. Owners were also great. If you are ever in Kingston and looking for something to do, I highly recommend.

It started out great we went on the boat and started getting comfortable, then was told to get off because of safety concerns. They had to then delay the cruise. They gave us the option to stay until the issue was resolved or get a refund. They eventually sorted out the issue an hour and 20 minutes later and we were able to continue our cruise experience. I gave 4 stars because in my opinion there should have been a backup plan because some people can't reschedule because they don't live in Jamaica. On the other hand I had to give the company credit because safety first. I was annoyed at the delay but I'm glad we stayed because we had so much fun!

I love trips to Maiden Cay and was looking for a cheap means to get there. I had a great time! It was worth the money. Don’t expect many tourists as this is an event that appear to be frequented by locals. Which is ok, still. There was ample food and drinks.

Always a fun and excellent time will always recommend. Keep your attire simple unless you wanna dress up for your birthday. Of course, there is no shade on the island, but you can always go back-and-forth to the boat. Food is awesome. Whoever they get to cater they are beyond the best and drinks always on point.

Boat departed 45 mins late. The buffet style food was barely seasoned and dry. The open bar was of course limited with options and drinks were served in cups big enough for maybe 2 shots. The music was dragging until the last hour. On a positive side the Staff was very polite and friendly. I would not recommend this company.
