Overview
Enjoy a classic whitewater-rafting adventure on the Snake River, where you'll travel eight miles (13 km) on a 17-foot (5-meter) self-bailing raft, designed to handle the river rapids. With a guide providing instruction, you'll tackle Class II and III rapids such as Champagne, Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, and Ropes during the journey from West Table to Sheep Gulch in Snake River Canyon. Calm stretches with chances for swimming allow you to relax between the action.

Please check-in at our office 1/2 hour prior to your scheduled trip departure. We will transport you to the river launch location approximately 25 miles south of Jackson and approximately 35 minutes by bus. The same bus will bring you back. ALTERNATELY you may choose to meet us at the river.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 1 day of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Near public transportation
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- WHAT TO WEAR: Prepare to get wet! Synthetic, quick-drying clothes are best (swimsuits, shorts, polyester). Please avoid cotton and denim. Secure shoes are required (sport sandals, old sneakers, or water shoes). No flip-flops, Crocs, or bare feet!
- CHECK-IN: Please arrive at our office (180 Powderhorn Ln) 30 minutes prior to your departure time. We operate on a strict schedule to get you to the river, so late arrivals may miss the boat!
- WEATHER POLICY: We raft rain or shine! Whitewater is a wet sport, so a little rain just adds to the adventure. We provide splash gear to help keep you comfortable.
- AVAILABILITY: Don't see the time you want? Inventory changes daily. If you are looking for a specific time slot or a private boat, please contact Lewis & Clark River Expeditions directly. We often have availability not listed here!
- FOREST SERVICE FEE: Please be prepared to pay the $3 Bridger-Teton National Forest user fee at check-in. This applies to all guests ages 16 and older.

What a fun experience. My husband and I and two teens (age 15 and 14) had a blast. Ben was experienced and knowledgeable. He loves his job and took time to get to know everyone on the raft. This was a first time for our family and we loved it. Ben had my 14 year old daughter ride up front for one of the rapids. She got soaked and we all laughed.
It’s was thrilling without being terrifying and was definitely a highlight of our trip. I would definitely recommend for families or anyone really. Beautiful scenery, lots of birds and wildlife and lots of laughs.

It is not intense, fun but not hard at all. The trip was relaxing, some fun rapids. Our guide Billy was informative, polite, good sense of humor and knew what he was doing. Just a very nice experience.

Did our whitewater rafting tour in early August so pretty much at the end of the season. Had a great time with Billy our guide who educated us on the water and how the flow changes throughout the year. Spotted Osprey and Bald Eagles and had some great white water. I ended up going overboard but did everything Billy told us and was lifted up quickly. Made for quite an adventure and great pictures and video. I will add that the water is not controlled by the company so call and ask about how the water is running so you are properly prepared.

Our group of 7 did the Family Friendly Classic Raft with Danny as our guide and we had the best time!! Danny was super knowledgeable and made the float such a fun experience. The float itself was 8 miles long and took ~1.5 hours and had the perfect mix of calm and excitement. It was such a highlight of our trip and would definitely recommend booking.

It was safe, so much fun and Danny was an outstanding guide!! He guided the boat so well and was very entertaining! He was full of jokes and you can tell he loves to be in the nature. It was a 5 star day and the highlight of our trip!!!

My wife and I are 62. We took our Grandkids, and it was beyond awesome! Don't be afraid, the only thing that will happen is allot of fun. Our guide was great! Her name is Charley, ask for her!

Beautiful and thrilling ride down one of America's iconic rivers. Joe, our guide, was entertaining and knowledgeable. Got wet, heart rate went up a few times, and the scenery was awe inspiring. For 1st-timers this is the time to go. Don't think we're ready for the Grand Canyon, but we are going again.

Enjoyed it from begining to end, from the staff at the office , to our driver, Lee, to our guide, Luke. I'm sure that all the guides are equally competent, but Luke was fantastic, knowledgeable, good sense of humor, safety concious, made the adventure so enjoyable. Highly recommended adventure.
