Instead of having to get out on the water, this land-based whale-watching tour is a peaceful and personalized alternative to crowded boat trips. It was great meeting Percy, he explained lots of interesting things about whales and sealife in Hermanus and took us to the places where spots are more frequent. We spotted whales from different points of the coast and at the end of the tour we were so lucky that a mum with her baby got close to where we were and we saw some nice breaches.
We also spotted a doplhin pod swimming around 3 kayaks. It was a great experience!

Excellent trip. Mr. Percy is a fantastic person and like a family and friend in Hermanus. He gave us an excellent orientation tour of the town, tour to the whale museum, a trip to Fernkloof Nature Reserve and drove us along all the coast stopping at Grotto Beach, Siever's point, Gearing Point, Flick's pool, and other whale viewing points. We spent adequate time at all places and he is a fantastic photographer too. He sent some clear and great pictures of the whales, flora, fauna that we saw on the trip. He is a genius and a walking encyclopaedia. He organises many tours too and arranged for our airport shuttle service from Cape Town airport to Hermanus and arranged for our shuttle service for drop at hotel in Cape Town. He made our trip so hassle free and a happy one full of good memories to last for life time

Percy Tours is the best company to book your tours in Hermanus and S. Africa: knowledgeable, with great humour and truly looking after you and making your experience worthwhile. We had 2 tours with Percy and both excellent: we learnt about whales, flora, fauna, wines and we laughed a lot too! We also booked a transfer with him to the airport on our last day as he has a very comfortable vehicle and his personality makes everything better! Book Percy!

We met up with Percy on Friday and started at the whale museum he was very knowledgable and informative about all aspects of the whales. We had a good 3.30 hours around Hermanus talking in the views and surrounding area we unfortunately didn’t see any whales but it was still a very enjoyable trip would definitely recommend

Alles perfekt geklappt. Percy hat dieses Erlebnis für mich toll gemacht..auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen..Man merkt dass er seinen Job gern macht und dann aber auch noch die Extrameile geht und auch mit seiner Kamera Fotos macht zur Erinnerung . Danke

Hi Suzanne, it was really great to meet you and to conduct your Whale watching walking tour in Hermanus - thankfully the whales came out to play too, with us spotting at least 10 to 12 whales in 3 hours of exploring. As it is spring here, it was also great to show you our local flower reserve of Fernkloof, as the Fynbos plants are all bursting out in full glorious colours.
