We had a fantastic time with Nixon on our St. Lucian adventure. He knew the island and its’ history so well. He set the route to avoid major waits at points of interest. He was great with my mom who needed a little more time to do things. We laughed, we explored and we had fun! I’d highly recommend his services. It was like we found our St. Lucian cousin. All you can ask for on your island vacation.

Misleading itinerary

Firstly our driver was great, however, the itinerary show on viators app is very misleading, 1, drive through Castrries Market etc , chance to buy gifts 20 mins - actual, drive past, explanation, drive on 2, Derek WALCOTT square - brief history 20 mins - actual, drive through told who he was 3, Marigot Bay, the most beautiful secanic bays in the Caribbean - actual, see it from a viewpoint a good mile away - not 20 mins more like 5 4. Anse la Raye , drive through - was correct 5 Canaries, fishing village and chocolate factory, 30 mins - actual, drive through told, no stopping 6. Drive in volcano - we did the volcano tour- lasted 10 mins, we did stop at a view point to admire the 3 pitons 7 Toraille water full - cool refreshing waterfall , no hike, true , but only there 10 mins We were picked up off cruise at Rodney Bay - this tour states 3-4 hours, it took over 2 hours to get to the Pitons and 2 hours back - with stops 5 hours, would have chosen a different option if we’d known we’d spend 4 hours in the back of a car, I wouldn’t chose this option from Rodney bay port stops

Thank you for your feedback. As this was a customized tour, we tailored the experience based on your request to see the main highlights rather than follow the full itinerary. Traveling from Rodney Bay Marina does involve a longer scenic drive. With selected stops along the way, the total duration can extend beyond the estimated time shown on Viator. I noticed most of what I normally do was cut short or declined by you. We also understood that you were concern about returning to your ship on time and I ensured we managed to get there accordingly. We did our best to include the key highlights within your tour, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve communication for future guests.

Not a fan of viator

Private car and driver did not show up on time. After waiting 30 minutes another driver contacted the company hired by viator (who was still an hour away). They worked out a deal between themselves so we toured with someone else.

When the driver called at the scheduled pickup time, he confirmed that he was on time, and I informed him of the tour arrangements and the type of tour scheduled. When you asked whether I could conduct the tour myself, I explained that the driver would be taking you on the tour and that it would take approximately an hour for me to reach your location if I were to come in person. I kept in touch with the driver which informed me that everything was going Great! I sincerely apologize once again that I was not able to conduct the tour myself. Nixon, our driver, had a very good knowledge of St Lucia. His driving was perfect and we enjoyed every moment. We would thoroughly recommend this day out and Nixon. A very good way to see the island in a short time. The special bit was seeing the Pitons, so iconic of St Lucia.
