Wonderful experience! Full of history, information about daily life, and experience! We aren't really tour people, but going to a market in our first full day in India was a bit intimidating. Of course, you can walk through the area, but a guide provides the context and information about the local vendors. I'll absolutely book with them for another tour!

Bazaar Trail Walking Tour in George Town not to miss

I was really glad doing this tour. I booked the tour unexpectedly but I was really glad to do it. The tour was beautiful and fascinating. The walk through the george Town is almost a must do for all visitors in Chenna. It was worthwhile. The guide Ms Krishna was very kind and told us all the stories about it.

Bazaar Trail Walking Tour with StoryTrails

This was a really wonderful tour - the one we enjoyed the most in Chennai. We actually had two guides - Lakshmi and a new guide (whose name I am ashamed to say I have forgotten!). Their English was first class, and they had great stories to tell and explanations of the vegetables, flowers, and other produce (inc. snuff) to bring everything to life. They advised on one place where photos should not be taken, but apart from that the market traders were happy to see us, with some complaining if we did NOT photograph them. A very enjoyable tour.

We met up at a church and then we went by tuc-tuc to the market area which took quite a long time because of a lot of traffic in the market. The guide took us to see different kinds of shops and told us interesting information about what goes on in the market . He also told us about the history of the area and we had good opportunities to take photos.
