SCAAAAM !!!!
I have been scammed by Viator !! I booked 4 tickets from them to Alton Towers experience for me and for my son( 2 tickets today and 2 for tomorrow ) , went today to Alton towers , 90% of the rides were closed , I used the 10% as we already travelled 3 hours , i went to Alton towers customer services ( spoke to a lovely man his name is Sam ), he promised to refund me tomorrows tickets after taking my tickets numbers and email address, but he said it will take a bit of time because I booked my tickets via Viator but he promised that it will happen and gave me a ticket to confirm that , I called Viator to confirm the cancellation , they said to me it’s denied ???!!!!! I told them that Alton towers has authorised that and they will refund you the money !!! They said to me that the admin team of Viator is refusing to refund me the money which has been refunded by Alton towers !!! Not only 90% of the rides aren’t working ( which wasn’t mentioned on the tickets ) but they are refusing to refund me for tomorrow’s tickets too !! That’s theft

i would not book our tickets with viator again,unfortunately on the day of arrival there was no evidence of our tickets booked.i had to prove the purchase of tickets through my online banking otherwise we prob wouldn’t have got in.

Alton towers was shut due to snow and I haven’t received a refund for the tickets I paid for- please do so.

Well we just spent £300 on a holiday that didn't happen!! BEWARE THESE TICKETS ARE NOT FOR THE WHOLE PARK! In no place did it say that the adult section of the park will not be open on this day. We checked the website and Viator and the tickets themselves making sure they were real. Once we reached the gates we were notified that on this day only the kid's sections will be open. And we were two adults. So you can imagine how awkward it was for us, just two adults and all the other people's kids around us. In this day and age.. that was just wrong. We spent so much time and money booking this weekend, trains, a hotel, Ubers.. just to finally now be able to experience the park. At the gates, we were told this happens all the time, so please beware of buying these tickets.

Took my disabled child but was unaware I had to prebook an access pass. Only managed to get her on one ride the entire day and that involved me carrying her through the crowds as I was not allowed to take her wheelchair to the closest access point. Utterly disgraceful on the part of Alton towers. They said they did this from feedback received from other disabled users. I very much doubt that. They seem more interested in selling fast track passes and promoting use of their app meaning staff nowhere to be seen when help needed. Yes I complained at the end of the day but only after queuing twice for the overstretched client services office and was offered free passes to return another day but I wonder how many people simply give up at the end of a truly rubbish experience.

Arrived at Alton Towers for their annual scare fest with my family, they be met at the blue badge parking by security and being told it’s full and it wasn’t their problem I needed to park there. So we made are way to the parking areas and parked as close to the monorail as possible and when going to the park on the monorail we passed the blue badge Area and there must have been 30-40 spaces readily Available. When I made my way into the park I went to guest services and I may have well been talking to a brick wall as they didn’t care or want to help in any form absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff at Alton towers. This is the second time I’ve experienced this with Alton towers staff. And the upper management do not seem to care or want to help just pawn you off to leave a review

It was nicely decorated for Halloween with some actors wondering round which was fun….When you actually get on the rides they’re great fun, however we queued for approx 90 mins for each and got on 4 rides in 8 hours. The wicker man and smiler both broke down whilst we was in the queue, we’d queued for one hour for smiler and were asked to leave. We understand this happens but nothing offered as compensation ie fast pass for when it’s open. Alton towers seem to be letting in too many ppl and selling too many fast passes getting greedy.

These dirty scammers did not give me an accessible ticket and are refusing to give me a refund. DO NOT USE VIATOR. One hour on the gate, no booking could be located, had to pay full day price for a new ticket

Unfortunately the long queues and costly food and drink were very memorable, food Quality was very poor, the queues were much longer than advertised as you went in to the ride, we only enjoyed it because it’s time spent with our grandchildren,

The most memorable part of my trip to alton towers was all the hastle that I had because I chose viator to book my trip with,and could not get into alton towers because my name wasn't in the system,as viator had not sent me the bar codes i needed to be on the system so therefore I had to pay full maximum walk up prices for me and my family and viator would not refund me my money or give me tickets for another date,so I have ended up paying twice the amount I would of paid if I would of used the alton towers app,absolute joke wouldn't recommend to anybody

Our experience was awful, no rides working, rude staff, just a torid day. I could quite easily say more, however it probably wouldnt be published. Alton towers is just a money making machine, the only smiler is them.

We went for my husbands 50th birthday he hadn't been since he was 10. We were at Alton Towers 6 hours and got on 3 rides (not the ones we wanted) 2 broke down as we were in the que. I paid full price for us both then had to pay £10 for the car park that was not advertised on our way in.

We had the full day there and walked around 10 miles but the girl's 9 and 7 years old had a great day and said it was the best Christmas present ever. Can't really say much more.

We loved the galleons, having fun shooting water around on a very hot day. All the rides were good in different ways. If I had any criticisms, it would be that the food choices were basic, and that it would have been good to have train rides or similar between the more distant rides.

Alton Tower does not offer really exciting experience comparing other theme park in EU, where is more relaxing garden with some rides
