I enjoyed getting out and seeing nature and I certainly would not have found this hike without a guided tour. The rock formations were very interesting, as was the contrast between the basalt in the canyon and the surrounding sandstone. The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star for me was that I wish the guide had some more information. I am a bit of a geology geek so had questions about the canyons age, formation, etc. and he said he didn't know but his boss had the answers. Otherwise, a very enjoyable tour and a good escape from the busier spots in town.
