The closest metro stop is "São Bento" and it is the best way to get to us, as UBERS and Taxis are constantly stuck in traffic. It's mandatory to arrive before the class starts because it's not possible to enter after the workshop has started.

- It is not possible to enter the workshop once it has started. The door will be closed at the scheduled time and entry will not be permitted, given the possibility of rescheduling or obtaining a refund. No exceptions will be made.
- Minors (15-17 years old) will not be accepted without being accompanied by an adult.
- Only participants with a reservation can enter the space, companions are not allowed, regardless of age.

Our pastry class with Vanessa was absolutely wonderful — simply perfect in every way. She was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and easy to follow. Her passion for pastry truly shows, and she made everyone feel comfortable and engaged.
Not only did we learn so much, but we also laughed, enjoyed every moment, and created delicious treats. This class became one of the highlights of our trip and made it truly memorable. We can’t recommend Vanessa highly enough — it was an unforgettable experience!

This class was wonderful!! Our instructor was fabulous- fun, funny, and used a friendly format that included everyone in the prep/baking process. One of the highlights of my trip!! And delicious pastel de natas :)
Clara was an absolutely amazing host and made our pastel de nata making experience extremely memorable. A fun afternoon learning how to make pastel de natas from scratch. We worked together as a group, which was fun!
Great fun. The leader is cooky and bitter about lawyers. She did a good job engaging everyone in conversation with her and with others. The room was set up nicely, cleanly. The time allowed was perfect.
Not only did I learn to make Pastel de Nata, but what a fun experience. Clara was wonderful, patient and provided the history of the pastry. We learned how to make the pastries from scratch and enjoyed our efforts in the end. I would highly recommend this experience with Clara is you are in Porto.

We had a great morning with Vanessa. Drinking a glass of wine and learning how to make pastel de nata was great experience. We each took turns with each step with interesting conversation. Eating our tarts was our reward. Vanessa kept the class moving along with each step.

I had a fantastic time at the Pastel de Nata cooking class! Clara is a wonderful teacher and our natas turned out deliciously, despite drinking lots of green wine which was freely flowing and included in the class :) She also gave some great recommendations for local Portuguese food spots - one of which I went to afterwards and was fab. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

We all took it in turns to help with the making of the natas. We had wine and water and 3 of the pastel de natas each! They were hobestly the best natas I have tasted!
What a fun experience! The class size was perfect (there were 11 of us) and we all helped in the creation of the delicious pastry! Our pastry chef was fun and engaging and gave us really helpful tips for making the pastry on our own. I would recommend this to anyone looking for fun morning of laughter, learning and baking!

The class was very informative and lots of fun! I think I will be able to make the recipe at home, although it was harder than I anticipated. Great facilities and instructor.
You do not need any prior baking experience. Just know that you will literally be HANDS ON with about 10 other travelers and an amazing instructor who totally makes the class worth every penny. This could have been some regular baking class, but Clara made it a stand-up comedy show complete with jokes, punchlines, tons of laughter, and lots of socializing amongst the people in the class. This was an afternoon well spent in Porto. So happy I did this.
We had a fabulous time! Vanessa was AMAZING and taught us all about Pastel de Natas! The tarts were made by each individuals participating to complete the recipe. We were able to eat them at the end with a couple to take home! Book this class with Vanessa — you will not be disappointed!

So much fun! The woman who taught us how to make the Pastel de Nata was wonderful; she was entertaining and knew how to make each step simple. The pastries were delicious! Everyone should participate in this workshop.
A wonderful experience meeting new friends with hands on learning how to make delicious Pastel de Nada. At the end you are given the recipe to take home, as well as lots of suggestions for places to eat in Porto. Our host, Clara, was full of energy and made the class extra fun.

I did this class on my own, there were two other groups with me. People just stayed within there groups, not mixing with one another. In addition, the host did some bad comments about men, being the only man it felt awkward for me. I did participate when making the puff pastry but my turn got skipped when making the cream. I found myself isolated and felt unwelcome throughout the class.
The recepe seems legit, and the pastries taste good. The simplified version of puff pastry work surprisingly well. It's cleary not as good as real homemade puff pastry, but it can save you a lot of time and it's much easier.
The Course is very informative and relaxed. Clara is an Amazing Teacher & made the whole thing Fun. She was also very generous with the Coffe and Wine. We got to eat the Pastel de Natas we had made & take some away with us.

I was in a workshop with Vanessa. A couple of other travelers didn’t show up, so it was an intimate course. She made everything so fun and easy and feel like I can make them at home again! Vanessa is a great host, the class is tons of fun, and I recommend it to anyone who has even just a few hours to spare! It’s a perfect experience with an awesome treat at the end. If you’re wondering if it’s worth it, just go for it. You won’t regret it! :)
