All the work is done manually and none of this has changed in 500 years, when the first settlers introduced grape growing in Pico. In this activity, travelers will discover the area of Monte, in the Madalena, through an easy pedestrian track, accessible and made entirely on foot. Along the way, you can enjoy stunning landscapes over the mountain, the sea, the vineyards and the surrounding nature of Pico Island. Afterwards, we head towards the Old Creation, crossing trails linked to the landscape of the vineyard, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the emblematic Old Creation Mill and continue to Lajido, by the sea, where you can observe the ancient relieves marked in the volcanic stone and learn a bit of local history. In this natural and quiet setting, a guided meditation of about 20 minutes will take place, in contact with the stone, the sea and nature. Finally, participants enjoy an outdoor picnic.
