What are people saying about Kentucky

Fun Girls’ Night Activity!
I did this tour with my mom, 2 aunts & 2 cousins as a fun girls’ night activity, & we had a great time! I learned so much about the history of Covington & loved taking in some of the architecture that I’d never seen before (I’ve lived in Northern Kentucky my entire life!). Chris, our tour guide, did a fantastic job & was a wonderful storyteller. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun activity with friends & family!

Tour lives up to the hype and ask for Gabe!
The tour is very comprehensive and thoughtfully designed. A very special thank you for our intrepid guide, Gabe. We had quite a large group of various walking styles and he really kept the group moving and nobody was left straggling. Gabe and the other members of our group were so kind when our friend was stung by an insect and gave her every kind of first aid. The volunteers at the Conrad-Caldwell house also came out to help. This was all during set up for the St James art fair, which really turned the walking and parking situation topsy turvey. The man deserves a raise and travellers should request Gabe.

Amazing— must try!!
Jeffrey was absolutely amazing!! He was so knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. We weren’t sure what to expect as people who haven’t been around horses, BUT it was the absolute best experience and we can't wait to bring our children. The rolling hills and beautiful properties were amazing!!

Excellent tour
Nick and Rose were not just guides they knew everything about horses and all that goes with it. Nick was like an Encyclopedia of all things “horses.” Would go back and do this tour again. Every question answered and Nick’s personality was great and exciting. A great Ambassador for the industry and Lexington and State of Kentucky!!

If your brain wants to automatically add either “derby” or “bourbon” after the word “Kentucky,” that’s understandable—the state is rightly famous for both. As such, there are dozens of Kentucky tours to horse farms so you can see the sleek thoroughbreds up close. You can also traverse the bourbon trail on tours that stop at some of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries. Other options include guided walks through historic Louisville, visits to the National Corvette Museum, or food-focused walks through Lexington.
