Great winery tour with lunch!
Excellent tour of wineries in Montacino and Montapulciano with lunch in Piezza. Our driver, Simona, provided us with great information about the sights along the drive and history of the region. She was also an expert driver and made excellent time through crowded streets!

Beautiful day spent in...
Beautiful day spent in the countryside side, lovely host Fredricka, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The time spent in Siena was wonders and San Gimignano is just breathtaking. Highlight of the tour of course was the wine tasting at the winery. We tasted many wines, olive oil, walked the vineyards and had a perfect r lunch. Wonderful day

Amazing walking tour with...
Amazing walking tour with an amazing, knowledgeable guide (Brenda) who spoke clearly & distinctly & was easy to follow & understand. She provided great narratives - things we would have missed otherwise. Got plenty of time with The David, but did not visit the rest of Gallery. Visit to El Duomo was also great & revealing. Then we walked in the city, getting a great feel of the history. Be aware - this is a walking tour that lasts at least 2.5 hrs. There are plenty of stops, but no chance to sit.

Anastasia was a very knowledgeable and extremely interesting guide
Having a small group was definitely helpful as anyone was able to ask a question and get it answered immediately.
Definitely would recommend this tour and especially if possible to request Anastasia as your guide.

Leave the details and worries for CAF and not you!
If you are visiting Florence, but would also like to see Pisa…this is an outstanding tour. All you have to do is find the departure spot…and they will handle everything else. Your half day will be turnkey while very informative. Our guide Stella did an excellent job. Leave the worries and detail to CAF tours. Thank you for a fun half day!

I have always wanted to...
I have always wanted to ride a Vespa, and returning to San Gimignano was on my list, so this excursion seemed a perfect choice. And it was! Our guide/van driver and the guys who assisted with the 20 km Vespa ride were fun, competent and helpful. They made sure our group of 8 was well-prepared before we hit the road. The ride was spectacular! Scenery so perfect it felt like a movie set. We had some free time in San Gimignano before we returned to the vineyard where we had started for wine tasting and a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this trip for everyone, both new and experienced riders.

The Cinque Terre villages...
The Cinque Terre villages are absolutely breathtaking, with their colorful houses stacked beautifully against the sea! 🌊Our guide, John, was an absolute legend, navigating us through the train stations and endless village stairs like a seasoned general so we could just enjoy those gorgeous views. And a huge shoutout to Giancarlo, our bus driver, who got us to the train station so smoothly we didn't have to stress about a thing. 10/10, the ultimate dream team for a perfect day!

Great day trip outside Florence
Great way to see small towns outside Florence. Our “host” on the bus ride was Nathan. He was wonderful. Lots of great info. One suggestion is do not opt for the wine tasting. This took a great deal of time away from seeing the towns. 30+ people and only “1” staff pouring wine and giving talk. Go wine tasting on a separate tour. Would have liked the tour to be a bit longer to give more time to explore but overall was good time.

Great option for a worry free day
Great trip - I had originally planned to just go myself from Florence, to La spezia and do the 5 towns in two days. Saw this tour and figured i would try it. Glad I did. 1 day was enough. We skipped Cornilia since it is a decent walk up from the train and small. Would have been nice to check out but it was already a long day. The towns are close by train, but it was nice having the logistics taken care of. Had an hour - two hours at each. Fun spots to jump in at the port of Manarola but no where really to change. I brought a bathing suite but ended up just swimming in underwear. It was nice to fit it all in one day. Overall great experience

Great Cruise and View of Ponte Vecchio!
Angela was a very knowledgeable guide who took good care of us! She guided us through the history of Florence and pointed out important landmarks during the cruise. We had a great view of and sailed right under the Ponte Vecchio bridge. We even had a prosecco toast at the end! Our captain was very good in steering the vessel and kept us safe. A nice 1 hour cruise right before sunset - I highly recommend it!

Great way to see the area
We were pleasantly surprised with the daytrip and so glad we took the day to do it. Julia was our guide and Claudio was our driver. Both were excellent. Claudio did a great job of getting us to all our stops safely. Julia was outstanding, she was incredibly well organized and has a head full of info on the history of the stops. She provided the group with plenty of easy to understand instructions throughout the day. Note - she used WhatsApp to send out info on all the stops, map links of the meeting spots, etc. So it's helpful to have data and Whatsapp installed.
The stops were great and the time spent at each one was just perfect. The stop for lunch at the winery was fantastic - enthusiastic staff at the winery provided info and history on the vineyard and wines, and the meal itself was delicious. A nice bonus was tasting some of their olive oils and balsamic vinegars.
Julia arranged a train ride from the bus stop into the main area of Pisa and I highly recommend doing this. Otherwise you'll spend 15ish minutes each way walking to and from the bus. Plus the train ride was fun - not a train in the typical sense but a tractor pulling open-air carts on wheels. Worth the 7 euro roundtrip.
One thing to note - the bus leaves from an area outside the main Florence tourist spot. We had to take a 20 minute tram ride to and from the bus terminal, but its a very easy and cheap (2 euro each way) ride. We stayed near the train station and the tram literally stopped 4 minutes from our place.
The coach bus is new, clean and comfortable. But note, the one we had did NOT have a toilet on it, so you need to be strategic with your stops and planning bathroom breaks (but thats everywhere in Italy!)
Overall I highly recommend this trip to see some of the area's hidden gems. San Gimignano was beautiful, Sienna is gorgeous and Pisa is just a must see! And the ride through the Tuscan country-side is great as well.

Excellent day tour from Florence to see beautiful Tuscany
This was a fantastic day trip from Florence to Siena and San Gimignano. Our tour guide Andrea was fantastic, sharing fascinating stories about each place we visited. Having free time in both cities was a real treat. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
