The zipline crosses the tropical canyon, bringing you to the Rappel platform next to the Pino Blanco Waterfall. Rappel is 80 meters (262 ft.) alongside the Pino Blanco Waterfall. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about Michael! He was incredibly kind, patient, funny, and genuinely made the entire experience so much better. ¡Muchísimas gracias, Michael! The beach was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and getting to ride horses along the coastline in Costa Rica was such a special experience! I only wish we could have spent a little more time on the beach itself. The ride was a bit uncomfortable at times, but overall, it was a great experience, especially for the price! One of my friends needed to return to the car early, and the team was so gracious and accommodating about it. Michael also took the time to show us SLOTHS, which was such an unexpected highlight!! And as someone learning Spanish, I especially appreciated Michael taking the time to speak Spanish with me and help me practice throughout the ride. ¡Gracias por la paciencia y por ayudarme con mi español! :) Michael truly made the experience memorable. His kindness, hospitality, and enthusiasm did not go unnoticed. Costa Rica is beautiful, but the people make it even more special. ¡Pura vida! 🇨🇷

an experience we’ll always remember

My nephew, his wife, my husband, and I absolutely loved this experience! Juan Carlos was so kind and welcoming, and his communication was great from beginning to end. He took us along the beach and through some beautiful trees, explaining things along the way and making sure we had a great time. The views were amazing, and we really appreciated that he took the time to take pictures of all of us so we could remember the experience. We also enjoyed taking a little break along the way, which made everything feel relaxed and enjoyable. Juan Carlos truly made this experience special for us. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in Costa Rica!

The best morning ever!

Vici was very informative & the horses were so sweet & kind. Vici was able to reschedule us on such short notice due to travel issues we had but we are so so grateful we were able to experience this excursion! Vici was very helpful throughout the whole experience, very personable, & we could tell she cares a lot about the horses & what she does. This was definitely the best hose riding experience i’ve ever experienced. I got to ride with Banjo & he was super sweet, very smart, & had his own silly personality. 10/10 experience.

Sunset Sails trip was great.

We traveled in July. Even though it’s the rainy season we had beautiful weather. The water was pretty but not great clarity. We saw several different kinds of fish and my husband saw a small sea turtle. The crew was great. Wonderful hospitality. Our tour director, Minor, was super friendly, upbeat but no monkey business when it came to safety. We had a great lunch on the boat on our way back to the dock.

My daughter (10) and I...

My daughter (10) and I are fairly experienced riders. Riding along the beach and seeing some of the jungle was beautiful! We don’t get to canter, or trot really, on rides in the US, so the canter on the beach was as amazing as they make it look in the movies. We really enjoyed the ride and views—caught a glimpse of some monkeys and a deer along the route as well.

Our guide was awesome and the tour was amazing! The horses were super friendly and fun and we definitely recommend this experience! The trail was beautiful and the waterfall at the end was absolutely gorgeous! Lunch was also super delicious and had many options. Overall this is definitely something we would book again!

First time horse back riding!

Our guide was Cell. Super knowledgeable and cautious. Gave clear instructions, made sure we were comfortable and safe thoughout our experience. We hiked to the water falls. Option to take a dip. Then rode back, stopped at a Maleku Indian village learned about their history, opportunities to ask questions, view their handcrafts, available for purchase. Sampled their chocolate snacks and tried their pineapple drink. Then rode back to the stables. First time riding horse! It was overall an amazing experience!

Best tour for volcano views , and great value!

I was very lucky and was The only person on the tour, road very handsome horse named sultan, and had an amazing guide, who was very knowledgeable about the area, fauna and wildlife, this is hands down the best tour you can do in la fortuna and the best views of the volcano you can get. I did the morning tour to beat the heat, and came back to the property to use the hot springs later.

Magical ride on the beach!

Horseback riding on the beach was magical. The horses were so well trained and easy to ride, taking direction easily. We were a group of four at all levels of experience. We saw howler monkeys, a sting ray in the water and several iguanas. Highly recommend and can’t way to come back!

Awesome time!

This horseback riding experience was awesome. It takes place at Brasilito beach. Our guide was Lester, he was very helpful and super nice. He helped us get on our horses, gave us some rules and tips, and then took us along the trail which is through a few beaches. The horses were great, we got some photo opportunities, and had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this experience.
