Very good tour. Our driver/guide, Valentin, was very knowledgeable and gave us the history of Romania. He walked with us at each town and explained everything we were seeing. We really enjoyed this tour and learned so much. Just beware it is a long drive between towns and there is walking on cobblestones and up hill, plus some steps. Much of the drive is on back country roads. During our drive, he showed videos of the history of Romania. This tour was private and takes about 9 hours.

Lovely day in Transylvania
An absolutely wonderful day visiting Transylvania! Our guide, Charlie, was OUTSTANDING!! He is a terrific driver, an incredible tour guide, and just a really fantastic human!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better day in the Transylvania countryside. Charlie made us all feel really welcome and we walked away with a much better understanding of the history. It was a lot of up and down hill cobblestones and I was pretty proud to keep up and feel the good burn in my legs. We had a delicious lunch at 32 Viscri. My husband and I talked a lot about how terrific the whole day was. I hope Charlie had a good time too! Thank you for a really memorable experience. We would highly recommend this tour!!

Nice tour and friendly guide
Great experience.
My favorite part was Peles Castle and the Sinaia Monastery.
Bran Castle is ok but don't have extreme high hopes, it's a nice Castle.
Our guide, Vali, was very friendly.
The traffic from Bran to Peles was 2h so plan something to eat, there is not a lot of time to buy something.

Excellent guide for great itinerary
It is a great way to get to see two of Brasov's castles and a beautiful calm monastery. The castles are so different. Our guide Florine was so well informed and adjusted the day to suit road and weather conditions. Brad Castle- of Dracula fame, is really intriguing with its winding staircases and spooky nooks and crannies. Peles Castle is wonderfully elegant with so many stunning wooden carved doors, walls, ceilings and figures. An excellent day out

Not to miss experience
Extremely professional and informative local operator and guide. Useful info sent to us about the tour a day prior, pick up was on time, friendly and informative guide and what an experience to be able view bears in their natural habitat like this. Highlight of our trip and would go again in a heart beat. I work in travel myself and highly recommend

Interesting trip. Would recommend.
Interesting tour with Christian who was a great guide. A tip for others travelling. Bring something warmer to wear than you think you need. At first the 55 degree temperature feels fine but after an hour as your body temperature drops more it gets pretty chilly.

Must do tour in Brasov
Our dream was to see wild bears in Romania.. and thanks to this tour - it came true!! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and we felt safe the entire time. We managed to see 3 bears and a fox, a beautiful day out in nature from start to finish. Cannot recommend more!!

Such a great tour! We...
Such a great tour! We visited 3 castles plus a momentary. Admission to the castles was not included but also it wasn’t super expensive to enter. The tour was small just 2 couples. Our tour guide was very informative and gave a lot of great history on Romania and the area. Definitely recommend!

"Fangtastic" day!
The tour does not include entrance tickets & we were concerned that Libearty bear sanctuary tickets could sell out, however as soon as we booked we had a WhatsApp from the operator advising us to immediately book tickets for a specific time slot for Libearty.
The guide picked us up on time at the arranged location, and was friendly and informative throughout the trip.
The bear sanctuary was amazing, the in house guide told us the stories of the bears and we were lucky enough to see them being fed. We saw around 30 bears.
We then carried on to Bran (Dracula's!) castle where our guide helped us purchase tickets and arranged a meeting point. He gave us information about the castle before we went in. Be aware there are a lot of steps in the castle and staircases were steep and narrow. We spent around an hour and a half in the castle before meeting our guide to go to Rasnov Fortress.
Our guide took us to the fortress, helped us with funicular tickets, and accompanied us the the fortress entrance. Although the actual fortress is closed for repairs ( which we were aware of) we had great views from the inner courtyard.
Our guide then drove us back to Brasov, arriving at 3.30pm.
We would definitely recommend this tour - it made visiting the sanctuary and castle so much easier than by Uber or public transport.

A must do tour
Easy to book, great communication and started on time. Our guide really knew his stuff and was interesting. A great day was had by us all. The purpose of our trip was to visit the castles especially Bran Castle. The tour didn't disappoint and was the easiest way to see all the sights.

T. Highway tour in the snow
Our driver picked us up in a very comfortable car, with heated seats, which is great for the time of year we were visiting. December is cold, and there was a lot of snow, so make sure you have appropriate clothing! You don’t need hiking or snow boots unless you want to do a little climbing for views and pictures.
In December, you won’t see bears lining up at the side of the road like you might at other times of the year and the views are very dependable on the weather. In extreme weather or wind the cable car is unlikely to run. We were very lucky and although it was super misty, the cable car was in operation.
We didn’t get to enjoy full views on the cable car due to the mist, but when we reached the lake the sun came out and it was very beautiful. Sunglasses are recommended as the glare of the snow made it really hard to open our eyes for pictures 😆
Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us lots about the history of the places we drove through or stopped at.
Make sure you fully understand the pros and cons of the time of year you visit - all seasons will have very different things to offer!
We would like to come back in the summer to get full benefit of the views, see the bears, and see the lake when it is not frozen over. That said, seeing this area in the snow was a very unique experience and it was a really breathtaking view.
And whilst you may not get bears, there are lots of friendly dogs around the cable car 🚠
Top stars for the guide who was great and took lots of pictures of us 🤣

Splendid well paced Tour
This tour covers 4 locations in the 8 hours allocated. It moves at a well organised pace and Triane our guide users the best of his vast experience and connections to ensure any hurdles are overcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Even squeezed in a nice lunch at a traditional restaurant outside Bran Castle. Definitely recommend 👌
