The tour was amazing! George, our guide was informative and entertaining. Not only are you with people who know Harry Potter trivia, you learn about the history of York and enjoy it at the same time. If you’re planning a trip to York, you should take this tour.

Molly was a lovely and engaging young guide who knew her topic very well. As well as Harry Potter related info, you will also learn some interesting York related history, so bonus there. The tour takes about 1.5 - 2 hours and goes surprisingly quite quickly. We really enjoyed and would recommend

We had such a great time! Molly was so fun and made the tour really interesting. We learned so many fun facts, and my 13- and 15-year-old daughters absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!
Molly who was the tour guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Molly kept the tour interesting and has a tonne of enthusiasm and made it fun.
We decided to take the tour because there were a lot of reviews online that said it was great for children. While it was great to start with we had to leave the tour after about an hour, there was still at least 45 mins left on the tour.
My boys are 7 years old and love Harry Potter, but got bored during the story sessions. Not because the stories were boring them but rather that their attention span is very limited at that age. I would recommend this tour to families with older children. Teenagers would love it. I was disappointed that we had to leave the tour early but my children were starting to disrupt the tour and I did not want to spoil the experience for the rest of the group.
I would suggest a suitable age group be added to the website.

The tour guide Ellie was entertaining, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable about Harry Potter. The trivia questions and stories she shared were fun. My disappointment is that there are actually no Harry Potter filming sites in London, so the title and description were misleading. The only place slightly associated with the movies is the Shambles, which just vaguely looks like Diagon Alley. Also, the meeting spot is hard to find. We knew we were close and asked locals, who had never heard of the place. The meeting description mentioned a hotel across the street and even the employees there had never heard of it. Turns out we were in the right spot, but the sign is behind a construction fence. All of this created unnecessary uncertainty and stress before the tour. There are plenty of other places in York that could be found more easily.
Molly was an excellent guide and made the tour great fun. Lots of interesting info as well as all the HP content. Totally recommend the experience.
Molly our guide was Brilliant, very interesting and fun.. Told us about so much history of York and Harry Potter too of course, we played games, answered questions. There was only 5 on our tour including Molly, we all laughed a lot.I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody. I've recently started booking up for walking tours in any new town or city I visit now. I've even started doing walking tours in my own city too.
Ellie was great with my son and us older folk. Lots of knowledge of the surrounding area, quiz for fun. My son wants to do it again.

Ellie was a great guide and really upbeat and knowledgeable on not just Harry Potter but the spooky history of York too. Full of quizzes and interactive moments, our group all got along really well and laughed a lot. Would definately recommend this tour. Thanks for an amazing couple of hours Ellie! Unfortunately we arrived 10 minutes after the booking time and no one was there. The road and construction works outside the York railway station are horrendous and it took a long time to spot the signs to find the meeting point (RF bus stop) amidst the many people walking about and the cars, etc. Pity…

Ellie was an excellent guide and tailored tour to young and old. Everyone participated in a fun team quiz and one Mom rocked it for her team. Besides all things Harry Potter we also learned fun historical facts of York.
