Trip from York to Whitby.
Check holiday and school break schedules ahead of time snd avoid those dates as Whitby was quite crowded. We were also disappointed that the steam train portion was canceled. Overall we had a very nice time. Our tour guide, Mark, was very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank You

Marc did a great job...
Marc did a great job talking about the history of the areas we drove by and pointing out all the highlights along the way. At one point, the road was unexpectedly closed, but he did not hesitate to find a nice detour. Also, the train wasn't running to Whitby, but he was able to change up the itinerary so that we could take another section of the rail journey. If you're short on time or want to get an overview of the Uorkshire Moors, this is a great introduction to the area!

Visiting outside of York
Great scenery and history. Small bus of only 16 passengers so it is not overcrowded. Pretty English towns, sheep and more sheep, lots of lunch options and an informative guide.

Great Experience
We did the the Moors, Whitby & The Yorkshire Steam Railway Day Trip from York. It was a great day made even more pleasurable and special with all the knowledge from our tour guide/driver of the mini bus Mark. He made it all so special with his wealth of knowledge of all the areas we visited and so helpful in every way. The tour we would gladly do again.
