Our tour guide was Gus and he made the tour such a wonderful experience. The cycling track was perfect and not busy at all, it was all downhill and through the picturesque countryside. Gus took us to a Balinese Family house where he told us about the way Balinese people live and showed us their animals. The family even shared some food with us that they happened to be cooking when we arrived, they were lovely and very generous. We then stopped for morning tea where we were able to try local food and all different kinds of tea and coffee. Gus then took us to see the fireflies and through the rice fields before stopping for lunch and iced tea at the end of the tour. We felt we were lucky to have Gus as our tour guide because he shared such a wealth of knowledge with us, from Balinese farming practices to general life advice. We learned a lot from Gus. I would definitely recommend the tour for anyone who is looking for adventure, or even just to get out of the busy parts of Ubud for the day. We loved the tour and having Gus as our guide!
