Overview

Float through the virgin wilderness of Bali on this off-road tubing excursion to an idyllic stream hidden inside a secret canyon. You are transported by a guide and an off-road vehicle through the jungle to the canyon. Hop aboard an inflatable tube, admiring the lush wildlife like rare birds, monkeys, and exotic flowers that populate the riverbank. Halfway through your tubing experience, stop for an optional thrilling ride on the Flying Fox zip line, finishing your day with a buffet lunch. Your tubing adventure also includes round-trip hotel transport, a guide, welcome drink and snack, a storage locker and all necessary equipment.

What To Expect

See a different side of Bali during this all-inclusive tubing adventure in a hidden canyon located in the island's interior. Whether you're looking to add a little excitement to your Bali trip, or just hoping to enjoy the lush environment and beautiful nature of this tropical paradise, this excursion offers the perfect mix.

Start your tubing adventure with pickup from your Bali hotel. Check with your tour provider for the exact schedule. Proceed with your guide into the island's interior, heading to the beautiful hidden canyon situated in the Payangan area. Before starting your river adventure, get safety details on river navigation and instructions for the Flying Fox, the zipline you use to traverse a ravine before continuing your tube ride.

Climb aboard your off-road transport driven by your guide and enjoy a fun-filled ride through the jungle to the canyon where you start your tubing trip. Make a brief descent and then jump in your inflatable raft, as you lazily float your way down the crystal-clear waterway, surrounded by the lush greenery and exotic plants of this tropical forest. Don't worry about needing to paddle and let the river currents do the work, as you listen to your guide's commentary on the area's diverse range of plants, trees, and flowers. If you're lucky, you might even spy a monkey or rare bird nestled in the treetops.

Upon your arrival in the middle of the canyon, jump off your tube for a short, but fun detour on the thrilling Flying Fox zipline. Zoom along the 164 feet (50m) of cable through canyon, if you prefer, you can skip the zipline. Then return to the stream to continue your canyon-tubing ride.

Finish your ride by returning to dry land, where you are served a tasty buffet lunch, followed by a return trip to your Bali hotel.

Had a wonderful day on the river. This was the most fun I had in a long time, and would recommend this to everyone. The only thing I wouldn't do was the zip line again, with no real stopper, you just run into a cargo net that's about a foot in front of a tree, so you end up hitting the tree. Other than that this tour was great, my 60 year old parents had a lot of fun as well.

Heavy rain on the days leading up to and day of our tour. Arrived at the park to be told that we couldn't do the zip line component of our tour due to the rain. Asked if we could do another activity instead but were offered a free Bin Tang in exchange only. Tour was good and worth doing but would have been great to have the opportunity to postpone if a portion of the tour wasn't able to be done or at least offered an alternative activity.

A good tour for those that has never gone white water rafting our tubing before. The water is very gentle and shallow, so even if you do flip over, all you have to do is stand up. It lasted about 45 minutes, which is a lot longer than I expected, but it also made it more fun.

This was a thrilling ride through a beautiful canyon, but it was a bit more adventure than we bargained for. Two of my four children capsized in their tubes, resulting in scrapes. I banged my ankle on a rock when I fell out of my tube and found quite a few bruises when I got home. The guides were amazingly quick and obviously knew what they were doing, but it was a bit terrifying at times. There were a lot of narrow chutes through rocks and jutting pieces of wood, etc. I was very impressed with the way the guides raced ahead to position themselves at points where we might get into trouble, and at good sites for photo ops. The pictures from our tubing adventure were fantastic, and it was definitely unforgettable. I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves the adrenalin rush of shooting narrow rapids, as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. For our family, it was a little too wild.

This was a fantastic adventure. We went in July 2014, my husband, myself and my 10yo daughter. The scenery was beautiful, definitely an element of thrill seeking, but we always felt safe. Lots of guides go with you and they do a great job of looking after you. Only bummer is the almost 2.5 hour trip up the mountain, its a very long drive and no-one told us this, it seemed to take forever. Long drive on way home was fine because we all had a nice snooze in the car, we were exhausted after all the excitement. Buffet lunch was very limited for choice and mainly Asian food, not ideal for those of us ( and kids) who prefer Western food. Would still highly recommend. Linda from Melbourne.

The service on this trip was amazing! The 2 hour trip to the river was worth it once you got there, we hoped on a quad bike to get down to the river and the views were stunning, highly recommended!
