This was an amazing cooking experience! We first got to do a short market tour! Then we made 4 delicious dishes (and there’s a large selection that you can mix and match if you’re with a group)! The class was super interactive, the hosts were so fun, and the space was large and allowed space for everyone to cook (Everyone got their own station to cook all 4 dishes)! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

Soriya and Sivorn were amazing teachers and made the entire cooking process so simple to understand. We were able to choose our own dishes and they guided us the entire way through. They were also incredibly entertaining and were a joy to be around. Highly recommended!
Our family loved this experience! We had our teenagers and they enjoyed it too. The food was delicious. The staff was patient and friendly!

I had a great time at Khmer Cooking Class.
First we were taken to the market nearby where we were told by our guide Kong that the vendors we have visited were paid as well to contribute to the tour. We were able to interact with their goods which was a great experience.
Back at their kitchen, Soriya was such an enthusiastic chef, very lovely and funny. I love that we are able to participate in the cooming. Overall the food we made was great and their team deserves all the recognition

You get picked up by tuktuk who takes you to the cooking school studio: already a fun time! (King) Kong did the class with us, which ended up being only 2 of us. We picked our recipes, got to chopping and cooking. Very clean and well organized and Kong has a lot of personality! He took pictures throughout for us. And the results were tasty! Honestly the lunch was better than the food we got at the hotel!

We were picked up from our hotel & were lucky enough to have just one other person in our group, making it feel really personal and relaxed.
We started with a visit to the local village market, where we got to experience a typical Cambodian market and learn about the ingredients we would be using.
Then it was on to the cooking school, where “King Kong” talked and walked us through our chosen dishes step by step. He was fantastic — knowledgeable & entertaining!
After all that cooking, we sat down to an absolutely amazing feast of everything we had prepared. 😋
The whole team at Khmer Cooking School were so friendly, welcoming and genuinely passionate about what they do. It was such a fun experience, and we walked out feeling like master chefs! 👩🍳👨🍳

We had a wonderful time! Learned a lot at the local market, then traveled to the “house” for our cooking class, where we selected our starters, entrees, vegetables, and desserts - and then prepared them. All the dishes came out fantastic despite our limited cooking experience!

We loved learning how to cook Khmae food! They picked us up at our hotel so it was a smooth process for us. They took us to tour the local market which was a lot of fun. Then we went to cook. Each member of our group chose to make something different so we could try everything. It was all delicious. Sorya was a very good teacher and took great pictures to send to us as well. I would highly recommend this experience.
This was a highlight of our trip. King Kong was a good teacher. Cleanliness was important. We washed all of our own food. The flavors were wonderful. We each picked and prepared our own menu.
Afterwards, he took us to the market and explained how they select food. It was interesting watching them make coconut milk.
This experience is well worth the time and money.
Amazing time, outstanding hospitality. But meant for beginners and not serious foodies or chefs. Kong and team kept the class interactive.

Loved our cooking experience. All the ingredients were fresh and the dishes turned out to be very delicious and efficiently made. Can’t wait to try out all the recipes back home. The intro the local market and gardening culture was a nice touch. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a nice intro the Cambodian food culture.
I’ve just come away from a wonderful afternoon, hosted by Sorya. I was picked up on time and then we when around a local food market and then on to the school. It was great that we were each able to choose what we wanted to cook from a menu with various choices. And we had a fun afternoon, learning, cooking, chatting and then eating our feast! There were only 4 of us in th class too, which I liked. I would thoroughly recommend!

Sorya and Bok Choy has been incredible and informative in the cooking class. Surprised how fast we were able to cook many dishes in a short amount of time. She was funny and answered all of our questions. If you like getting something out of your trip to take away with you, book this, you will learn a lot.

Excellent trip. Picked up at hotel, brought to cooking school to choose our four dishes each. Walk around local market was very interesting - very local and no tourists. Cooking class was informative and very fun and relaxed. Hygiene was good. Food was really tasty. Cooking school will send us a lot of photos and recipes. Highly recommend.

This family-run cooking class was incredible! The staff were so friendly and incredibly patient with my 7-year-old daughter, making it a perfect family experience.
We loved that they support the community by cooking with fresh, local ingredients grown right on the premise. The food was delicious, the vibe was welcoming, and the mission is fantastic. Highly recommend!
Don’t think, just book… we left with grateful hearts and full bellies! What a pleasure it was to experience shopping for & cooking 8 different Khmer dishes. King Kung, Bok Choi & Chef Sivorn were a delight to spend time with and run an informative, well-paced & highly immersive experience. Their cooking area is well designed, clean, comfortable & well ventilated. The team can just as easy cater for large groups as they can for one person. I highly recommend this experience and would book again in a heartbeat! (Pickup & drop-off via comfy tuk tuk with Mr Zhong was on time with excellent communication)

We had an excellent time. The cooking class was simple and we finished up and ate in less than three hours. All of the dishes are good and many were quite flavorful. We even made our own spice pastes for everything but the tom yum.
Every person got their own cooking station and got to cook every single dish they ate. You cook and eat four dishes each. So if there's more than one in your party, you can pick different dishes, share, and try more.
The class even came with hotel pickup by tuktuk.
Great experience starting from introduction to the herbs garden and preparation of authentic Cambodian dishes in local home. Hosts Sorya and Kong were fantastic and very helpful. Highly recommended.
