This was an amazing cooking experience! We first got to do a short market tour! Then we made 4 delicious dishes (and there’s a large selection that you can mix and match if you’re with a group)! The class was super interactive, the hosts were so fun, and the space was large and allowed space for everyone to cook (Everyone got their own station to cook all 4 dishes)! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

This family-run cooking class was incredible! The staff were so friendly and incredibly patient with my 7-year-old daughter, making it a perfect family experience.
We loved that they support the community by cooking with fresh, local ingredients grown right on the premise. The food was delicious, the vibe was welcoming, and the mission is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Don’t think, just book… we left with grateful hearts and full bellies! What a pleasure it was to experience shopping for & cooking 8 different Khmer dishes. King Kung, Bok Choi & Chef Sivorn were a delight to spend time with and run an informative, well-paced & highly immersive experience. Their cooking area is well designed, clean, comfortable & well ventilated. The team can just as easy cater for large groups as they can for one person. I highly recommend this experience and would book again in a heartbeat! (Pickup & drop-off via comfy tuk tuk with Mr Zhong was on time with excellent communication)
Tips: food preferences can be catered for at time of booking & clean toilets are available on site.

We had an excellent time. The cooking class was simple and we finished up and ate in less than three hours. All of the dishes are good and many were quite flavorful. We even made our own spice pastes for everything but the tom yum.
Every person got their own cooking station and got to cook every single dish they ate. You cook and eat four dishes each. So if there's more than one in your party, you can pick different dishes, share, and try more.
The class even came with hotel pickup by tuktuk.

You get to choose which menu items you wish to cook. The host Sorya is very friendly & helpful on how to prep & cook your foid. Sorya & her assistant she cheekily names Bok Choy were amazing. I was the only customer but she was so very welcoming & happy to have me there. One paying customer is better than none she kept reassuring me. Tuk tuk pickup & collection if nearby, was included. A fabulous cooking experience which I highly recommend.

Fantastic cooking class! We had so much fun with our teacher King Kung! First we did a very interesting tour of the local market before heading back to cook our food. It was amazing to learn about all the different herbs and vegetables. The cooking class was brilliant, Kung was a super teacher! Everything we cooked under his guidance turned out delicious and I can't wait to try cook some of the meals back home in Ireland. We had all vegetterian options. 5 star experience from Kung and the team at Khmer Cooking. Thanks so much for all the fun!

Excellent cooking class. There’s a good selection of dishes for you to cook - and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, so the dishes end up being very tasty ! Sorya (our host) was an absolute legend. Pick up and drop off from your hostel is included as well

Awesome experience, very fun. Visited a local market before going back to cook at the school. Educated on local ingredients and then on to cooking. The school staff were so nice and fun, really made the experience. Highly recommend.

We had such a fantastic experience at the Khmer Cooking Class! From start to finish, everything was well-organized and enjoyable. Our instructor, Kong, was absolutely brilliant, patient, funny, knowledgeable, and made the whole class fun and engaging.
The day began with a warm welcome and clear guidance, and Kong walked us through each step with ease. We loved learning about the ingredients and preparing authentic dishes ourselves. The highlight was sitting down to enjoy the delicious 4-course meal we had cooked. Lots of vegetarian options too.
The class was hands-on, informative, and gave us a real appreciation for Cambodian cuisine. Hotel pickup and drop-off by tuk-tuk was a lovely touch, making the whole experience seamless.
Highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Siem Reap, Kong truly made it memorable!

It was great! The food was lovely and they grow a lot on site and you are shown around r the gardens and they tell you how they use the different vegetables and herbs. The staff were beyond friendly, very funny and made our time here really memorable. I would 100% recommend! It’s a lot of food though so make sure you come hungry!!

This was such a great experience. We toured a local market and (King) Kong explained the different items and gave us some insight into local lives. We then headed to the school, picked our dishes and got to work. Everything was explained clearly and Kong was so enthusiastic. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. Don’t worry about going alone, as you get to choose and cook your own dishes (starter, main, vegetable, dessert) and not have to eat what others pick. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Sorya and Sivorn were amazing hosts! The market was really interesting, and Sorya answered any questions we had. Sivorn was a great head chef, and the food was delicious. I liked that we were each able to choose our own dishes for our 4 courses.

A wonderful evening we started with a market place tour and then did a tour of the companies vegetable garden and mushroom farm.
It was great that we each got to pick 4 different dishes to cook- an appetizer, a main course, a vegetable and dessert. The cooking facility is very clean and has plenty of space for each student. The staff were great especially our instructor Sorya. She did a terrific job keeping us all organized and took terrific pictures.

I have taken many cooking classes during my travels. This class is near the top of my list of favorites! Our instructor, Kong (King Kong) was fantastic! He was funny, knowledgeable organized and very professional. The market tour was eye opening and so interesting. I love to see how other cultures live and what their day to day life is like—this market tour gave us a taste of that.
I really liked that we had a choice of what to cook. Many of the classes have a specific menu that is the same for everyone. And you only get to do a portion of it. In this class—we did each course and ate what we cooked. I was with a friend and we chose different foods for each course—so we could try six different things.
I wish I could give the class more than 5⭐️ and wish I could give our instructor, Kong 10/10! Thank you Kong for such an enjoyable and memorable experience!❤️
