⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Cultural Introduction to Shanghai

I thoroughly enjoyed this private guided tour of Shanghai. Our guide, Lily, was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and landmarks. Her English was clear and easy to understand, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The itinerary provided a great overview of Shanghai, from the beautiful Yu Garden and historic Old City area to the Former French Concession, Nanjing Road, The Bund, and Lujiazui. I appreciated the opportunity to learn about both traditional and modern Shanghai in a single day. One thing future travelers should know is that this tour involves a significant amount of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. Time is built into the itinerary for lunch, but travelers purchase their own meal. The lunch stop offered a nice opportunity to relax and recharge before continuing the tour. If I could suggest one enhancement, it would be to incorporate opportunities to sample local Shanghai cuisine or street foods as part of the cultural experience. I think that would make an already excellent tour even more memorable. Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an in-depth introduction to Shanghai.
