Their house is about 1000 hectares of land and the national park is only %10 of the property open to the public so they have many places to go.

I walked th guided tour with a broken toe..so it can be done! Having a guide is the only way to do it. They find all the creatures that u would miss and are so knowledgeable about everything there. They take photos and zoom in on objects for a wonderful experience. Not only is the park beautiful but also the beaches pristine...wear your suit under your clothes for u will be ready to cool off and enjoy the beach after the tour.

Tour guide Eiderson was amazing. Shows us lots of animals i would not have seen otherwise. Super nice and informative....would recommend him in a heartbeat. The park itself was a bit crowded but our tour guide did a good job of getting us through as a group and making sure we enjoyed it. The beach at the end is beautiful but many rocks in the water that cant be seen made it difficult to enjoy.....came out bleeding from being smashed on the boulders underneath. As warm and beautiful the water was, I got out because it was hard to enjoy.
it was good!but we faced some problems! we bought tickets through this company and guide was included he was vey knowledgeable only the problem was entry ticket was not include and we thought we can buy in the gate but you have go throw online. our internet wasn't working and couldn't find our group and guide. car parking was vey shady and we missed more then 20 min tour.well so please go buy ticket alway ahed and comunnication with your tour guide meeting point.
Jason was a great guide. He helped us spot many animals and went at a great pace for the kids. Would recommend.

The guide is absolutely essential. They can show you all kinds of things you would never see in your own. Worth every dollar!

Great tour with a great guide. Jason was really nice, with a lot of knowledge on the forest and it's inhabitants. He was able to spot so much wildlife and seems really interested in it. We had a great experience
Great tour with Andrew, he did great at finding stuff and knowing where other stuff was.living. He shared photos taken through his scope at the end of the tour. I would recommend. Parking location used by tour company was near the tour start and cost 10usd.
Ivan our tour guide was knowledgable, friendly and an expert spotter and picture taker with & without the scope.
Jeremy was our guide and was really easy to find at the meeting point. As we were walking around he explained so much about the animals he spotted for us in detail. We never would have spotted the animals that were sometimes minuscule or so camouflaged if we had been on our own. He took photos for us through his telescope and sent them to us so we could have them as souvenirs in high definition. It was a wonderful experience for the end of our stay in Costa Rica.
The tour was brilliant, Jason was a fantastic guide, passionate, extremely knowledgeable and very witty too. We saw things we wouldn't have noticed, makes us wonder what we'd missed in other nacional parques. Jason took some amazing photos and videos which he shared with us all later that day. Seeing wildlife up close through his lense, was mind blowing. The tour exceeded expectations, Would definitely recommend, Jason made our visit to Manuel Antonio unforgettable. The best value for money ever! We saw, Sloths, Howler, Squirrel and white faced capuchin Monkeys, bird eating snake, giant crickets, bats, Night jar and more.
Best thing we did in Costa Rica. Our guide, Jason, spoke great English and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We saw sloths, spiders, snakes, birds, turtles, iguanas and lizards. It ended at the beach and we didn’t bring our swimsuits but I wish we would have because it was the best swimming beach I’d seen on our trip. The water was warm and clear and the sand was so soft. There were also shady areas to sit.
I highly recommend this tour and would happily go again. Great value for the price too. Our guide also took great pictures and airdropped them to us.

Wow! Our tour far exceeded our expectations. The two hour guided tour with Jason from Wakoo was just right in this national park. This was our third tour in Costa Rica and for Manuel Antonio we had expected this to be our busiest stop . we went first thing in the morning for a seven to nine a.m. tour . highly recommend for anybody else going here to go early . Jason was extremely knowledgeable And showed us things that we never would’ve seen on our own . he took fantastic photos through his scope for us and even recorded voiceovers for some of the animals and insects that we seen so we would know where we saw it and what its true name is. Jason gave us tips on what to do following our tour with him within the park such as beaches and hiking trails. He was really really knowledgable and very friendly and super funny. Highly recommend booking in with Jason!
Our fantastic tour guide had an experienced eye to find the sloths, monkeys,, birds and iguanas. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The food at the park wasn’t very good, but the tour ended at the beautiful beach with warm water!
Boring, purposeless, barely any wildlife. We expected much more; the activities in Arenal are much more meaningful.

Throughout the tour, I personally checked in with you multiple times to ensure everything was going well, and at no point did you mention any concerns or dissatisfaction. In fact, it seemed you were fully engaged in your own conversations, spending a significant amount of time on your phone with your wife. Despite this, your daughter appeared to have a wonderful time, fully enjoying the experience.
It’s worth mentioning that the rest of the guests on the tour left 5-star reviews, expressing how much they enjoyed the wildlife encounters and the overall experience. It seems your experience was the exception, not the norm.

Costa Rica Wakoo Tours
Our guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable and found wildlife we would have never seen on our own. There were a lot of tours going on at once. It was a bit crowded. The beach at the end of the tour is beautiful. The beach wasn't crowded. We took a 7:30 am tour. It gets hot quickly, so go early.
Our guide Jason was great! He had the eagle eyes to spot many animals for us. I would highly recommend taking a private tour like we did and ask for Jason. You will be glad that you did.
Andrew was my tour guide and he was super knowledgeable and great at spotting a lot of different wildlife. I really enjoyed having him as my guide. If your intention is to see a huge variety of animals/insects and get some good pictures then this tour is absolutely worth booking, there were so many things I wouldn’t have been able to notice or identify without the help of a guide. I’ve seen some reviews that seem to have missed the instructions to buy park tickets before the tour, but personally I can confirm these instructions were provided to me on the description for the tour when I booked it.
We booked a guide through Viator. Our guide Bryan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the amazing plants and creatures of the park. We probably would have missed half of the animals sightings walking on our own.
Jason was great! Found us many animals and was full of information! Great pictures and videos! We really wouldn’t have seen much without a guide- also helps with parking and entering park.
Our tour guide was awesome and worked to ensure we got to see a variety of animals including crabs, snakes, birds, monkeys, and lizards. It was nice to have Jason take the photos and then share them with our group. If you are interested in doing something specializing in bird watching then Jason would be an awesome guide. The beach was great and we were able to see monkeys and lizards around the shore. There is a good walk back to the entrance, but it is flat. Just know you have a 15 minute walk back after swimming.
Our guide, Jason, was the best! He was entertaining, very knowledgeable about the park and Costa Rica, polite and courteous. Provided very detailed instructions to get to the park. We enjoyed seeing the sloth + baby, 4 different types of monkeys, iguanas, Coatimundi, frogs and birds.
The walk was long (2 hrs) and hot on a stone road with occasional water breaks and a few benches to sit on with opportunity to buy lunch near the end. The trail was somewhat crowded between 8 and 10 am on a Thursday in early March, but not overly so.
At the end we spent another hour or so swimming on the beach before hiking back.
The guide, Jason, was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, was funny and personable, and was able to spot wildlife where nothing seemed visible to me. Without him, we would’ve missed seeing the sloths, bat, crab and lizards. We did manage to see monkeys without his help.
This tour was amazing! It ended up just being me and my fiancé and Francisco was our tour guide. We saw a lot of great wildlife including sloths and iguanas, but the howler monkeys were a highlight for us as we hadn't seen them yet in our trip. Francisco was so knowledgeable that I caught other people listening to him rather than their own tour guides! He was also very focused on making sure we got a lot of great pictures. I would highly recommend this tour!
Had a great time exploring the park with Jeremy. He was very accommodating and made sure to answer all our questions. He helped us spot a lot of animals which we wouldn’t have if we did it ourselves. Highly recommend Jeremy.

This was a great experience! Andrew was an awesome and knowledgeable tour guide, he genuinely enjoyed his job and were glad to have been with him! We saw monkeys (Howler and white faced capuchin), sloths, a snake, a few hummingbirds, and tons of iguanas. Would recommend to others!
It was a super interesting tour, we learnt a lot about fauna and flora. We spot a lot of animals and insects. Our guide Andrew was so friendly and explain us a lot of things. I do recommend this tour!!

Seeing sloths! Francisco was a fabulous guide. Very knowledgeable. I would suggest bringing food! We planned to get food and drink at the coffee place but it was closed!!
