Great tour and great tour guide Max! Lots of interesting information and stories on the locations, history of Wales, Welsh language, national Welsh symbols, tips on typical Welsh food, other places to visit and eat in Wales and Cardiff! Enough free time to explore each location on your own and take photos! Had a really great time! Very beautiful Nash Point cliffs, Welsh horses, interesting stepping stones near Ogmore castle and very impressive Caerphilly castle with its leaning tower and white and red dragons;) thank you for showing us such nice and beautiful places! St. Fagans National Museum was very interesting too!

This tour was a lovely introduction to South Wales. Our tour guide, Max, was very attentive to ensure our safety, educate us on the history of Wales and inform/point us in the right direction when arrived at our destination. A day well spent!

I highly recommend this tour! You see a variety of sites. It gives a great taste of South Wales. Max was our tour guide, and he was great! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kept a nice pace throughout the day. He was also a good driver. We had a wonderful day!

Max was wonderful. The bus was the cleanest I've ever seen. He showed up to the meeting 20 minutes early. Unlike some other tour operators I've had and he had great advice. Outstanding!

The scenery was very beautiful. The variety was really good. Seeing the cliffs and castle ruins was great. Only negative was we could not understand the driver as he had a thick accent. Not welsh.

Our guides speak English and use a microphone with an amplifier on board to ensure everyone can hear clearly. As you mentioned, he didn’t spoke Welsh — which, ironically, would have made it even more difficult to understand for non-Welsh speakers.
We appreciate that traveling outside of the U.S. means encountering a variety of English accents, and we understand that this can sometimes be a challenge. However, in the hundreds of tours we run each year, we've never received complaints about our guides' accents, which leads us to believe this may be more about your perception than a broader issue with our service.
For future travels worldwide, we kindly recommend that if you’re having difficulty understanding your guide, you politely ask them to speak more slowly or clearly — they’ll always be happy to help.

Our trip to South Wales - Cliffs and castles on 13 Sep 2025 was a wonderful experience through Viator was a wonderful experience. It took us off the beaten track and was time well spent. Mr Max, who was our guide cum driver, did an amazing job in explaining various aspects of everything we saw. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. We would certainly recommend this tour to all our friends who intend visiting UK / Wales.

The tour was interesting and jam-packed. In fact, I would suggest more time be assigned to Caerphilly Castle and Sain FFagan. I was rushing around and still couldn't cover all the ground at each of these locations.
Max was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, chatty and friendly. He also led hikes up and down the cliffs. The little gift bag we received was a nice touch!
