Amazing tour, great people and easy to work with. Our guide took us around the big tour groups so we could enjoy the turtles without having other groups in the way and in our photos. Wada fantastic tour thanks heaps š¢ š

Looks like you have accidentally posted to the wrong place - we don't see many turtles on our tours but great that you had a fantastic time on your turtle tour!!
*** I alerted TA to say you had posted this to the incorrect business, and they just sent a reply to say it is fine and complies with their rules etc š
š¤š§.. so sorry, but I guess this stays unless who ever posted this is able to take it down!

Viator was great about reconfirming the trip, counting down the days etc. But when we sat waiting for pickup at the hotel, we realized something was wrong. No one came to pick us up and it turns out that our reservation on the tour was canceled. We were the only two on the tour and locally we showed us canceled. This was a huge shock to us because we had booked this so many months out, and it took a lot of planning to be in the Cook Islands. The operator said that she would have taken us out even though we were only two, but didnāt give us the option that morning and only offered a refund. There was no time on our trip to rebook and so we lost out big time. She was going to look into it and call us back but did not. I would not recommend this type of tour without reconfirming, even though that was not requested of us and we assumed everything was good because Viator was communicating with us right up to the morning of the tour and payment had been taken the day before. We are still waiting for an explanation

Hi. Sorry - I didn't realize you wanted me to contact you unless there was a problem with the refund. All I could see when I checked out what happened, is that the tour was booked, then cancelled (i did ask you about this on the phone, and you said you didnt know). When logging into Viator (after you called), I could see that it had been rebooked, but for whatever reason I didn't get that notification (this happens sometimes - fortunately very rarely).
This is one of the challenges we experience as small operators with bookings that are not made directly, and with a current staffing shortage it makes options near impossible (e.g. to just put together a special tour on the spot).
As discussed on the phone, I could not take you later in the day, as we have a deadline for catering orders, and I would have needed to sort out a driver. We didnt have availability on Saturday, and you left on Sunday, so that was not possible. I'm not sure what else I could have done other than apologize to you as I did, and request a refund from Viator., which I promptly did.
I wonder why you simply did not call back again if you were still waiting for an explanation? If I knew you were waiting, I would have called! As I said, I'd contact you if for some reason I couldn't process a refund request.
Hope you had a safe trip back to the US, and that you enjoyed your time in Rarotonga.
**tip for people booking on Viator: you should receive a message from me (Corrina) on Viator within 24 hours or so of your booking, where I'm giving you a pick up time or following up on any details. Please, even if it is simply saying a pick up time, please respond so that I know you have seen it, and also, it should send me an email. Likewise, if you do not hear from me at all after making your booking (allow 12 hours at least), please message me - this way, situations like the above should be avoided. Meitaki :-)

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and open to any questions about Flora, fauna, Raratonga Island life. She paid attention to the ability level of the group, and did not have us do more than able. The route we took was very interesting , and was a back road, so no worries about cars.
The lunch at the end was fantastic, on the beach. Great, great experience. Highly recommend!

What a great way to experience the Island with a local guide who was very informative & easy to talk to. Karina was happy to cater the tour around our interests & was great how we stopped & chatted around learning new things. Was not too hard & enjoyed a casual ride. I initially thought we would be riding the main roads but was pleasantly surprised we got on the backroads and were informed about many interesting things and landmarks. Unfortunately our riding tour was cut short due to rain but we enjoyed a drive instead with a lovely lunch.

Karinna is a great storyteller . She made it into a fun interactive bike ride following the backroads of Raro. We had the opportunity to husk a coconut then eat it , try some breadfruit , learn about local customs . The ride finished with a wonderful homemade lunch on a glorious sparking sandy beach .
Also the bikes were excellent .
Highly recommend

I went with my two teenage children (17 and 13 years old), we liked it very much.
Quiet route, with several stops, the guide was excellent, friendly and extremely kind.
At the end, a stop in a stunning place for a picnic, was very delicious and we will definitely carry this special memory of the moments lived.
