      Not worth the money

      Kim_K, Sep 2024
Too expensive for what you get. Isa the guide was the saving grace of this tour. She was fun and knowledgeable. She did a good job with what she had. However, this is not a food tour. We were hungry at the end of the tour which is not the norm. We had 3 stops; 1st was an absinthe drink with a cracker, the 2nd was one plate of cheese and sausage for 14 people and the 3rd stop was at a caterer where not everyone could sit down. The food was good but so small that we could not enjoy it fully. The wine was ok but rationed. Not worth the money.

Hi Kim, We are sincerely sorry to hear that you didn't had a good time. Other persons in your group have rated us 5 stars for the same experience on the same day. But anyway, we will take in consideration your feedback, to be fair, you are the first one in years that have mentionned not having enough food, we used to hear the opposite. In saying that, I'll reach out to all our suppliers to understand what happen around quantities. One factor is that it was the busiest tour we ever had so I wonder if this was the issue in itself as maybe the suppliers didn't provide an equivalent quantity per person of what they generally offer with smaller group. And to finish, you did unfortunately book through the platform with the highest commissions. Sorry again for the inconvenience, be assured that we will investigate and also ask other visitors on the same day for more opinions. If you are still around a few more days, we can offer you to join a walking tour for free or a discount on other activities. We wish you still a good time for the rest of your holidays and happy travels. Cedric

Fantastic introduction to Provencal food, drink, and culture

      Sarah_J, Aug 2024
We enjoyed all of the food and drink very much. It was fun to learn more about wines of the area and taste Provencal delicacies.

Fun tour with fun, knowledgeable people...

      Stephanie_W, May 2024
This was a wonderful way to get to know a bit about the history of the area as well as the food/wine scene in the Provence region. Both Ysa and Cedric were knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides and the tour was a very good introduction to wines, traditional foods and the character of the region. The small group made for an intimate and engaging few hours with both the guides and with persons at the stops along the way. It was a wonderful few hours on a beautiful evening for this solo traveler. I am very grateful to have found it, as I was surprised to see very few local offerings on Viator for tours or excursions in/out of Antibes that did not require signing up a group (minimums of 2 to 4 people). There is definitely a niche there that needs to be filled. Stephanie W.

      Great little tour, worth doing!

      Lucy_R, Sep 2023
Very good little tour! We got to try a lot of different local cuisines and it was lovely being shown to some restaurants and bars you never would have thought about going to. Worth doing on your first couple of days to the area and if you are interested in trying new food!

      Fantastic Experience with Ysa

      Grace_L, Jun 2023
We had the most fantastic time on our tasting tour with our guide Ysa and her intern Phoebe. My mom and I were the only 2 people on the tour so they truly made it a personalized experience tailored to everything we had wanted. The food was amazing and we loved the pairings that came along with them. Additionally Ysa and Phoebe shared Antibes history with us every stop. A must do experience in Antibes!!!

Hi Grace, We are very grateful and happy to read you had an amazing time with us. It's not often that there's only 2 people on this tour so you might have been spoiled with 2 guides. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to review us, we really appreciate it. Enjoy the rest of your holiday on the French Riviera and don't forget that we also run walking tours, e-bike tours, croissant making classes and provencal cooking private class... From Cannes to Monaco. You'll be always welcome on another tour and please let us know so we can give you a little discount :-) Happy travelers, happy guides! Cheers, Cedric from WhatToDoRiviera
