Top Trieste Underground Tours

I cordially invite you to leisurely walks through the beautiful and unique city of Trieste. I would like to bring you closer to the city of Trieste with my city tours, tell you about the history, culture, architecture and the people who lived and live here. For me, being a tour guide is a passion, not a job.

Trieste is an ideal jumping-off point to explore the top sights in bordering Slovenia, but arranging land transport can be a hassle. With this private tour or shore excursion, save hours with pickup directly at the Trieste cruise port, hotel, or any other city location and round-trip transportation to both Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Skip the fast pace of a group excursion and explore these two gems at your own pace.

A perfect shore excursion for cruise passengers in Trieste, this group tour takes you into Slovenia to explore Postojna Cave and the medieval Predjama Castle. Enjoy a train ride through the cave’s labyrinth of tunnels and learn about its geological features. Informative commentary highlights the fascinating history and romantic setting of Predjama’s cave castle during this half-day experience.

Get off the boat and spend a day in the Slovenia with this private full-day shore excursion to Postojna Cave and Ljubljana from Koper. An experienced local guide will meet you at port and take you one of the country’s best natural wonders, like karst caves, full of cavernous rooms and halls. After spending time exploring the cave system your tour will continue on to the marvelous city of Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital and a city ripe for exploring. Make stops at the Franciscan Cathedral, the fountain of Francesco Robba and Town Hall, among other places. You’ll have time to explore the city and do some shopping before driving back to port.
