Side is reached by turning south 3 km. before Manavgat on the Antalya-Alanya highway.The exact date of its founding is not known.In the language of Anatolia ”Side” means pomegranate. The Manavgat Waterfall, located near the town of Manavgat, is known for its wide and powerful flow, creating a stunning natural scene. Surrounded by lush greenery and fed by the clear waters of the Manavgat River, it offers a peaceful and picturesque landscape, making it a unique natural attraction.

Great historical tour

This was an amazing tour—so much history. The guide was excellent and taught us so much. We were given time at each location to explore on our own. Lunch was at a restaurant—you got a choice of chicken or kebab with sides. It was excellent! It’s a fair amount of walking, but not overly strenuous. Plus you get a golf-cart ride in Side. Recommended!

Hit the major points of all sites efficiently, though would have liked a little more guidance about where to wander during the free time. I think lunch should have been an add-on cost, since people may not enjoy the offerings (despite the variety). It's also awkward to sit and eat with random people. Would have preferred they drop us in market, and we pay for food separately. Overall it was still worth it and would recommend.
