Top San Agustin Adventure Tours in 2026

Explore the various archaeological sites of San Agustin as you embark on a horseback riding tour through the area. Join a small group and mount your steed for a leisurely ride to the La Pelota statues, El Purutal, El Tablon, and La Chaquira. As you ride, your guide sheds light on the history of each location as well as what the statues and monoliths represent.

What truly sets this tour apart is the breathtaking natural beauty of the San Agustín mountains combined with the unforgettable adventure of rafting on the majestic Magdalena River. As the river winds its way through dramatic canyons, you’ll paddle past lush scenery, feel the thrill of navigating playful rapids, and experience Colombia’s raw beauty from a unique perspective. The confirmation of the rafting activity depends on a same-day river condition check. Early each morning, our technical team evaluates the water level — especially if it has rained the night before — to ensure optimal safety for all participants. Based on this assessment, the rafting experience may need to be adjusted, delayed, or in rare cases, canceled for safety reasons. The total duration of the rafting experience is approximately 3 hours. Whether you're seeking adventure, natural beauty, or a mix of both — this rafting journey delivers a memorable highlight in the heart of Colombia.
