We have designed this hiking route so you can enjoy the incredible views of the Pico de Orizaba volcano. Our local guide will explain the flora and fauna of the place. We will visit 2 beautiful waterfalls created by the melting of one of the few glaciers that exist in Mexico, the Jamapa glacier, on the north face of the Pico de Orizaba volcano. After the waterfalls, we will continue climbing, and you will see how nature changes. In the mountains and volcanoes, trees, flowers, animals and all of nature in general adapt to the altitude. As you go up you will see this change, until you reach the point where the trees stop growing and the sandbanks begin. We start in the 16th century Puebla with the cathedral, from there to the Palafoxiana Library, its incunabula books and the influence of the Viceroy of Palafox in the novohispanic life. We continue with the amazing chapel of the Rosary and its golden altars, we will visit the Victory Market and its Porphyrian past to finish the Old Convent of Santa Rosa that combines architecture and convent life and is home to the Museum of Popular Art and also the place where the mole was invented!
