Top Nairobi Day Trips

What a great day, our driver Peter was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our trip got off a bit slow (accident which held Peter up). Contacted company who replied right away with update even though was 6am. Once Peter arrived he took us to Nairobi National Park first. We saw a multitude of animals (zebra, giraffe, impalas, rhino)and birds (kites, hearon, ostrich, vultures) and more which Peter was able to tell us about and all the difference subspecies. Then someone said there were lions, away we went but we missed them, Peter was genuinely gutted we had and continued to track where they could have gone. Unfortunately no luck but thats safari for you. Next off was the Sheldrick wildlife sanctuary to see the orphaned Elephants oh and rhino and zebra. What an amazing experience. Peter then advised that our next stop was to be the Giraffe centre but it would be busy si we could go for a coffee. We took his advise and he stopped at lovebirds cafe, we spent about 30mins there and wandered around their gift shop. Then into the Giraffe centre. It was still very busy being the weekend, Peter couldn't get parked but managed to get us inside the gates. Lovely experience feeding Giraffes then a tour about the sustainability and rejuvenation projects that are going on. Peter waited patiently for us to come back. On the way back to the hotel Peter pointed out all the landmarks and talked freely about Nairobi giving us loads of information. Overall it was a fantastic trip and we would highly recommend it and Peter as a guide.

I’ll Driver/guide Joseph was excellent the best tour guide ever in Kenya, he had sharp eyes or animals in Nairobi national Park and keep communicating with all the tour guidesto find the best activity in the park. We saw morning kill zebra by the Lion and then saw the lioness back feasting at late afternoon. It’s a once in a lifetime wonderful experience.

A chilling experience! Sharon our guide accompanied us on this journey meeting wonderful and genuine people, we managed to immerse ourselves in the true activities of these people, from milking goats to traditional cooking and dancing. Everything absolutely authentic

Patrick was an exceptional driver companion! Friendly and always on the ball, he delighted us with great company to Hell’s Gate, helping us also to get the quad bike to ride around the park and to Lake Naivasha, where we even managed to see the hippos! 5 stars and also highly recommended is Innocent, the Hell’s Gate guide, the Valentino Rossi of Kenya!

He answered every question we had with incredible knowledge and gave us fascinating insights into the history, culture, and daily life of Kenya. What really impressed us was how he made our ambitious itinerary possible in a single day without ever making us feel rushed. He knew exactly how to plan the route efficiently while still giving us time to enjoy each stop. Along the way, he pointed out places of interest, shared local stories, and made sure we got the most out of our experience. Beyond being an excellent driver, Gabriel has a fantastic personality. He was kind, easy to talk to, professional, and made the entire day enjoyable. His knowledge, warmth, and dedication turned what could have been just transportation into one of the highlights of our trip. We had an absolutely outstanding safari with John in Nairobi National Park – it really couldn’t have been better. From the very beginning, you noticed that John is not only extremely experienced, but also does his job with real passion. He knows the park like his back pocket and has an incredible sense of tracking animals. Thanks to him, we were able to see an impressive variety of wildlife in a short time – including some highlights we would never have discovered on our own. What was particularly impressive was how much knowledge John shared. He didn’t just show animals, but explained exciting backgrounds, behaviour and connections – always understandable, never intrusive. You immediately notice that he has years of experience and really knows his stuff. The tour was also top in person: super friendly, relaxed and professional at the same time. He took his time, responded to our wishes and coordinated the safari perfectly with us. We felt safe and in good hands at all times. In short: If you're planning a safari in Nairobi National Park, go with John. It's 100% worth it. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

The tour company messaged me via WhatsApp the night before and let me know all the logistics for the tour such as how to get our park entry tickets and what time to be ready. The pick up time was 20 minutes before six with six being in the advertised time on the tour page, so that may end up varying slightly, depending on how many people they have to pick up from various places. Our tour guide, Daniel, was very friendly and knowledgable and offered us lots of interesting facts as we drove around the park and saw different animals. We saw three of the big five which is great because they don’t have elephants and leopards are very elusive :) along with that we saw many other animals, including warthogs, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, and many more. I think for every animal there was at least one occasion when we were able to see them quite close up as well, which is very nice.

Had a wonderful time site seeing and shopping with our host Obed. He arrived on time and gave us a fantastic overview of the area and what to expect on the tour. He was very accommodating and made sure we arrived at KICC in time for view a beautiful sunset. He took very nice pictures with his camera and shared the photos with us. The vehicle was clean air conditioned and had very nice African music playing during the drive for entertainment. He narrated sites and shared a lot of historical information along the afternoon as well as answered all of our questions. He was very friendly fun and made sure the experience overall was great. The tour was wonderful. Please do book this one you won’t regret it.
