Top Manila Day Trips

This walking food tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Chloe, struck the perfect balance of being incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and wonderfully accommodating throughout the experience. What really set this tour apart was the way she brought every stop to life. She didn’t just hand us food. She shared the history behind each dish, explained the local ingredients and traditions, and gave us a deeper appreciation for what we were tasting. It was also clear that Chloe had built real relationships with the vendors we visited. The mutual respect and friendly rapport she shared with each of them made the experience feel authentic and welcoming, rather than like a typical tourist stop. If you’re looking for a tour that combines amazing food, local culture, and a guide who is passionate about what she does, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Come hungry and leave with a full stomach and a much greater appreciation for the local food scene!

Despite the rain, we had a fantastic time on the Historical Manila by Night tour! Pearl was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who brought Manila’s rich history to life with fascinating stories and insights, while Adrienne helped make everything run smoothly and not have to stand in the rain to wait for the car. We learned so much and never felt rushed, even with the weather. This tour is a must-do if you’re visiting Manila. If you’d like to explore more of the historic buildings from the inside, I’d recommend taking the daytime tour as well. But for a memorable evening filled with history, culture, and great guides, this tour is absolutely worth it!

JB and our driver, Vincent, took us on tour of the Bataan peninsula which focused on the Death March but it was so much more. We visited three World War II museums and learned more about the Japanese treatment of the POW’s and the local population. The courage of the Filipinos was amazing and we cannot be more grateful for all they did for the American service men left behind to fight overwhelming Japanese forces. The soldiers and civilians were brave and generous and never stopped fighting for their freedom. JB was extremely knowledgeable and had first hand experience because his grandfather survived the Death March and taught JB many things as a child. He was willing to share this personal knowledge and the pain and suffering of the war. We will never forget this tour and we thank JB and Vincent for teaching us and sharing a profound experience with us.

Our tour guide, Mark was a rock star!! He was so kind, funny and super informative. He made our trip comfortable and fun for all. We were blessed with perfect weather. We enjoyed stops at Buko shop, local fruit vendors, a local meat market and many other items for sale here as well. We visited the countryside of Tagaytay and viewed the Taal volcano site. It was a beautiful and peaceful place. There were also souvenirs for purchase at reasonable prices. If you want to get out of the city and visit another province… this tour with Mark is a must do experience!

Carlo was such a great guide! I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this and I was so shocked. Such a beautiful, serene place tucked away. The food was sooo good! We still talk about it! Two family members didn’t swim but there’s plenty of smaller, shallow areas that they managed to spend time in. we were so happy they were also able to enjoy!!

Even though we had a set itinerary my guide Zee made a few adjustments and took me to a number of very interesting sights based on my interest. She was very knowledgeable about all the places I visited and allowed me the time to really absorb the tons of information. Great driving by Adrian in the Manila traffic! All round, an excellent half day of touring cultural sights in Manila.

Our Guide (Bernardo) was great!! He shared plenty of historical information but also inquired about the guests & where they were from. I really appreciated seeing the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Site. I enjoyed the walking tour (Fort Santiago) but it seemed others did not anticipate the amount of walking. Not sure if it was displayed in the tour information.

This was a great opportunity to see a magical place. Richard was an awesome tour guide., and very knowledgeable. Very easy to talk to. Since I was a solo traveler, and the only one booked for that day, it was really special to have the trip go well. Ronald was a great driver, and a pleasure to talk to as well.
