This walking food tour involves a fantastic walk around the cultural and historical centre of our beloved spa town and diving into the vibrant independent food scene with some fabulous tastings. With a knowledgeable local guide and the company of other foodies, you will not only be enjoying lunch at five places, but you will also be supporting our local independents. We spend 3 hours around the town visiting 5 different independent eateries where you will eat the equivalent of a long lunch; 2 savoury dishes, 2 sweet, a cheese course and a local brew. Your local guide will help you learn about the locally produced food, the people behind the food and a little of the history of this beautiful spa town.

Step aboard the Dalesman canal boat for a canal cruise in the Yorkshire Dales with a difference. Choose your favorite drink and allow your host to pour you one, whether you’re into gin, cocktails, whisky or wine, craft beer or cider. Just like a pub, only cruising on the water, the Drinks Ahoy cruise is a narrowboat unlike no other. Sit back, enjoy the ride and keep the drinks coming.

A meal out and a look at the Yorkshire countryside usually mean doing two separate things. This canal cruise from Skipton rolls them into one, serving a roast dinner aboard a traditional barge as the countryside and canalside drift past from the water. A bar on board sells soft and alcoholic drinks, and the route passes points of local history along the way, including the Polish Airmen Memorial marking a wartime bomber crash on the canal bank.
