Top La Fortuna Dance Lessons

Our methodology is based on human, inclusive, empathetic, and personalized teaching. We believe in forming dancers before dancers, people who enjoy, feel, and live dance with freedom and confidence, without neglecting the techniques for those who seek specific goals. Each class begins by listening to and understanding the needs, interests, and expectations of those who visit us. From that, we build a dynamic, fun, and accessible experience, where each participant can recognize their progress, strengthen their confidence, and enjoy their own process. From our studio in La Fortuna, we integrate Latin culture, history, and essence in a close and authentic environment. My passion for dance, which has accompanied me forever, is reflected in every class, providing genuine attention, enthusiasm, and a safe space where everyone can learn, express themselves, and connect with dance. More than teaching steps, we seek to create connections through dance.

Combine learning to cook with learning to dance with this combo experience. You'll learn how to make traditional Costa Rican food and sit down to eat your creation. Once you're done, you'll work off your meal with a dance lesson focused on Latin dance styles such as salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bachata.

This experience offers a unique combination of Costa Rican culture, Latin music, dance, and local cuisine in one unforgettable evening. Unlike a traditional dance class, LatinTico Rhythms is designed as a fun cultural immersion where travelers can learn authentic Latin dance styles in a welcoming environment, regardless of their experience level. Guests will not only learn salsa, merengue, bachata, and Costa Rica’s iconic swing criollo, but also gain insight into the rhythms and traditions that are an important part of life in Latin America. The focus is on enjoyment, connection, and memorable moments rather than perfecting dance techniques. To complete the experience, participants enjoy a delicious three-course dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients and traditional Costa Rican flavors. The combination of music, movement, cultural interaction, and authentic food creates a memorable experience that allows visitors to connect with Costa Rican culture.
