What are people saying about Inverness

A must do trip!
The day was splendid from start to finish. Our driver guide, Duncan, was outstanding! He gave so much information but knew when we needed to reflect. He also played the pipe and bagpipes at certain points waiting for us to come back together. What a treat, especially at the Cairns and Culloden.

Becky was an exceptional...
Becky was an exceptional and knowledgable tour guide who had a clear enthusiasm and passion for the history of Inverness. It was a well paced and informative tour covering topics from the Picts, Saint Columba, the Jacobites and of course, Nessie. Would highly recommend!

Extremely recommendable!!!
This daytrip was fantastic for many reasons not only to do with beautiful sights. Out tourguide and driver Liall was truly amazing: a 100percent both highlander and „educator“ of highland history and culture (in the best sense) eager to show us more than renowned highlights, including insider knowledge! Great sense of humor, safe and calm driver, super playlist on board, all very well balanced! We are thrilled and thankful!

Our guide was Lawrence....
Our guide was Lawrence. He was very friendly and kept telling us stories about the different villages we drove through. We never got bored during the whole day trip. He stopped at the best spots giving us plenty of time to visit. We had plenty of time to visit Dunrobin castle and its gardens and even watch the falconry show. He also made several stops along the way for going to the toilets or buying souvenirs and food, for eating, and of course to walk around and take pictures. Besides the beautiful viewpoints, we saw and could take plenty of pictures of wild animals, like hares, highland cows, sheep, deer, seals, and luckily a few puffins. Everybody in our group of five said the day trip was excellent!

Excellent excursion
This was an excellent trip even though it poured the entire time we were at the isle of sky. Our tour guide, cuollum, made the whole trip with his interesting and witty monologue that covered everything from science, history, and culture to social information.

The best Isle of skye trip with the best guide Clare
We had our tour guide Clare! Very knowledgeable, sweet and took really good care of us the whole day
Nice to see the wonderful isle of skye! Its so stunning, rugged and i dont think i can compare it to other places we have been. Very spacious car and one thing that i liked most is that we are not overcrowded in the van. So thank you so much Rabbies company. Will defintelty book this trip if you want comfort and smooth tour. Cheers!

Stewart you are a star
This was our very first booking, and it could not have been better. Our trip started from Inverness, traveling alongside the majestic Loch Ness through some absolutely incredible scenery. A major highlight was seeing the Glenfinnan Viaduct just as the steam train was passing through—truly magical. We then moved on to Mallaig, where we enjoyed fantastic fish and chips and a leisure stroll through the town.
What really made the trip, though, was our tour guide, Stewart. He was the absolute star of the day! His candour, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of Scottish culture and history were outstanding. Stewart made our experience truly memorable.
Highly recommended

Ultimate Highland Experience
If you’re visiting Inverness or the Scottish Highlands, this tour is an absolute must. With such limited time in Scotland, we wanted to experience as much as possible… and this tour exceeded every expectation. We were able to see and learn about so many of the Highlands’ most iconic sights while also gaining a deeper appreciation for Scotland’s rich history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
A huge part of what made this experience so memorable was our guide, Martin. His knowledge of Scottish history was incredibly impressive, but what truly set him apart was his personality. He was funny, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Every stop came with fascinating stories, local insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish.
This tour allowed us to accomplish everything we had hoped to see during our short stay, and we left feeling like we had experienced the very best of the Highlands. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day.
10/10 highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance, absolutely request Martin. You won’t regret it! Thanks so much again Martin!!

Great day on Loch Ness
Our tour guide Neil was great. He took us to a few out of the way spots around Loch Ness like Dores and a couple really old bridges. Then we had lunch in fort Agustus and walked around the locks (locks, not Lochs). We went up the other side of Loch Ness to Urquart Castle to see that, then get on a cruise to go the rest of the way. Definitely a must do when you're in Inverness.

Wonderful Highland Tour from Inverness
If you are looking for a train to be part of the tour, that didn't happen due to a last-minute change from the railroad operators. HOWEVER, our tour guide, Louise, was fantastic and safely drove us around the Highlands to visit some beautiful places, and we saw everything that we would have seen on the train (which I have experienced before). She was a beast at handling the bus on those "wiggly-squiggly" roads (as she described them), and I was happy to take a break from driving on the left side of the road and let her navigate us. As a native Scot, she told us many wonderful tales of Highland traditions along the way. She even quoted poetry! I always felt safe while she was driving, and she was professional and lots of fun.

Professional service, amazing experience and hustle free
Professional service, amazing experience and hustle free.
We got delayed for the experience but the booking team rebooked us on a later trip with no issues. The trip itself was perfect for the family considering we had an infant with us. It meant we could enjoy the lake without having to walk extensive hours to see the castle.

Can’t stop talking about it
Louise was amazing! (She should literally start a podcast with all the information she had!) This tour hit so many stops we didn’t even know we were going to stop at. The stories and history were amazing! Definitely bring a second pair of clothes (the weather varies).
