Top Friuli-Venezia Giulia How to Get Around in 2026 - page 6

Join an exclusive journey to discover Sauris, a place suspended in time where nature, taste and authenticity come together. This tour takes you away from the crowded tourist destinations, into an unspoilt corner of the Friulian Dolomites, with premium private transport, dedicated guide and authentic experiences: from a visit to a PGI ham factory to a tasting of craft beer at high altitude. An experience designed for those seeking quality, comfort and discovery, in a hidden and surprising Veneto and Friuli.

We will be visiting two different iconic wine producers and we will discover their love and passion for the art of wine-making in Friuli Venezia Giulia, understanding the basic of tasting and winemaking, focusing on the different styles that made the region well-know across the globe. We will access and visit vineyards and winemakers that are usually not open for visits for private tours, or we will pay a visit to emerging winemakers, that are starting to be recognised in the fine-dining world and leading the way in the area to a new modern way of winemaking. Are you a real beginner? Don't you worry, we will even cover the basics of winemaking and wine production in Italy to get your bases covered! Are you a nerd as me? Don't you worry neither, I am sure we will have plenty to talk about! Transport, water and translation will be offered throughout the day.
