David was amazing
David was phenomenal and well versed in the history of Cartagena. We walked and explored the different neighborhoods, churches and museums and he educated me throughout the tour. He was on time picking me up from my hotel and made sure I returned safely.

Great tour!
Amazing experience in Cartagena, highly recommend it was very well organized and balanced. Went to three beach clubs, and snorkeling. Had a lunch break that was also really great. Sebas was our tour guide and he was truly amazing, very helpful and friendly. Gave great recommendations. Definitely recommend adding to your itenerary.

Phenomenal Cultural Experience
I highly recommend this family-run tour! We learned so much about Palenque culture and history, and the tour was filled with unforgettable experiences.
We had the opportunity to observe and participate in traditional cultural dancing, make native coconut and papaya candy, and learn about Benkos Biohó and the history of the first free African town in the Americas. We also visited a museum and gained a deeper understanding of how the community continues to preserve its traditions, including making medicine out of plants and preparing food by grinding corn and rice with a mallet.
The highlight of the tour was enjoying a freshly cooked, authentic Colombian meal prepared by the tour guides sister at their grandmother’s home. We sat together and ate on grandma's porch and truly felt like part of the family.
This was much more than a tour—it was an authentic and meaningful immersion into Palenque culture, history, traditions, and community. I highly recommend this tour, run by Victor and his family. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience truly unforgettable!

10/10 Would Recommend
Kevin and his crew are very knowledgeable, accommodating, and are going to make sure you have a great time. I even had an incident on one of the islands and got my phone stuck someplace. He made sure the problem was resolved and solved for me and made sure I didn’t have to pay for a whole new phone. The different stops were nice and informative. The last stop is most definitely a time, plus you get to meet some amazing people.

One of the top experience in Columbia
Fantastic tour. You get a long trip in very varied landscape. Through smal towns, dust roads (remember sunglasses) and at the beach. 3 perfect stops. One with lunch where you can top up the experience with buying sea food from the local fishermen. All very good and you get to support the local society too. One of the top experience in Columbia

Island Hopping
We had a great time on the Three Islands tour! Check-in was smooth—we arrived at the recommended time, boarded around 8:45 AM, and had shaded seating while waiting.
Bora Bora was our favorite stop. The water was calm and crystal clear, the coconut lemonade was delicious, and the music and dancing made the experience so much fun. The other islands were great for relaxing, lunch, and a quick swim.
The ride back was much choppier, so I’d recommend taking motion sickness medication if you’re prone to seasickness. Overall, this tour was a perfect mix of beautiful beaches, relaxation, and adventure, and it was one of the highlights of our Cartagena trip.

History & Heart
Romero was an outstanding tour guide—funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the history and culture of Palenque come alive and kept the group entertained throughout the day. Although it was extremely hot, this was one of the most educational and rewarding experiences of my trip.
The lunch was hands down the best meal of my vacation. Absolutely delicious and tasted like it was cooked with love. It was authentic, homemade, and was a highlight of the entire experience. I also loved browsing the local vendors, who had beautiful souvenirs and plenty of unique items to choose from.
The only minor downside was that the air conditioning in the van wasn't working very well because the air wasn't coming through the vents. Even so, it didn't take away from the overall experience. I would absolutely AND highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Great experience CTG to Bocagrande
Great communication and reasonable pricing made this a wonderful experience! We received a message from Samaria Tours the day before our flight letting us know when and how they would be in touch. On our travel day, Gloria sent a highly detailed message confirming our reservation, providing our transportation coordinator’s name, and instructions of how to find her at the airport. Our friendly coordinator Yulieth welcomed us and waited with us for our driver to arrive. We felt very well taken care of and had no stress about getting to our hotel.

Incredible mud bath!!!!
We had an awesome tour to the mud volcano. Rafael and the driver were fantastic guides for us. Rafael explained the tipping process to us in advance so we could be well prepared. The best choice we made was going at 6:30am. When we got there, we were the only ones there. After the nice massage experience we were allowed to float for a long while on our own. The cleaning process was easy, the ladies did a nice job but we still had a little mud in our ears a day later. We definitely recommend this tour and highly recommend going early. When we left we saw several large tour buses on their way.. we will likely do this again some day

Perfect experience!
This was an excellent family experience! The crew kept checking in on us to refill our (delicious) drinks, and were helpful with our stroller. Our son was picked for the pirate fight, and the costumes/fireworks made it the highlight of his whole trip.
The same boat also offered a day trip to Tierra Bomba, which was a perfect pace for our young children as compared to other jam-packed itineraries. The owners and crew were thoughtful in shortening/extending timelines based on our interest in each activity, and shared stories to increase our understanding of the area and its history. They even offered antinausea medication when my husband felt seasick. We enjoyed the stories, care, and companionship from the crew members on board, and would highly recommend both the sunset cruise and the day trip for families. They were the highlights of our time in Cartagena.

My family and I had a...
My family and I had a lovely time exploring the beaches on this tour. The stops were all very nice with excellent access to the beaches and comfortable accommodation. Our guide, Sebastian was extremely personable and made our tour even better! I would highly recommend for people who want a very comfortable and safe tour of the Rosario Islands!!

This tour covers many of...
This tour covers many of the main sights in Barranquilla and Puerto Colombia and is best if you’re looking for easy sightseeing and good photo stops. The highlights included the Puerto Colombia pier, the beach, a historic castle, the Window Tower, the Shakira and Sofía Vergara statues, the Barranquilla letters, and other city landmarks that made for great photos.
For Vegetarians the breakfast was a simple cheesy empanada, which was good but limited to one. Lunch was excellent though, and the women who worked there were very nice.
Javier was the highlight of the tour. He was attentive, helpful, and always willing to assist or look things up when needed. Overall, it’s a relaxed tour with great photos and content and a great guide.

There’s enough in Cartagena’s candy-colored Old Town to keep you wandering for days, but plenty more awaits outside the city’s 16th-century walls. The Colombian town is within easy reach of some epic attractions—ranging from dormant volcanoes filled with mineral-enriched mud to postcard-perfect islands fringed by white sand and lapped by the Caribbean Sea. So whether you want to sunbathe, snorkel, or smother yourself in silt, booking a Cartagena day trip will save you the hassle of arranging your own tickets and transfers, leaving you free to absorb the Colombian charm.
