Top Busan Craft Classes

Step into the heart of Korean tradition with a uniquely immersive cultural experience in Busan! Led by a friendly local host, you’ll start by handcrafting your very own iridescent Mother-of-Pearl (Najeonchilgi) keepsake—like a key ring or compact mirror—in just about an hour, no prior skills needed. Afterward, unwind with a tranquil Korean tea ceremony and dive into fun traditional folk games like Ddakji and Yutnori. It’s not just a workshop; it’s a soul-soothing journey where you get to create, connect, and take home a one-of-a-kind treasure from Korea.

Our tea ceremony offers a rare opportunity to slow down in a quiet seaside village, where guests can experience Oriental tea culture in a peaceful setting. Every session is carefully curated, combining tea, story, and calm hospitality to help guests reconnect with themselves through the art of tea. Guests are also invited to enjoy a selection of unique teaware, each piece selected to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the experience. In East Asian tradition, tea was often enjoyed alongside poetry, painting, and calligraphy — the gentle arts cherished by tea lovers. Drawing inspiration from this cultural heritage, our ceremony includes a calligraphy activity where guests can express their tea experience through brush and ink. This thoughtful practice not only adds a creative dimension to the session, but also offers a tangible keepsake that captures the spirit of stillness and reflection.

Only 4 chances this fall! This exclusive seasonal tour is specially supported by Busan Metropolitan City and available for just four limited departures. Immerse yourself in Korea’s rich cultural heritage through a variety of meaningful hands-on experiences in Busan. Create your own mother-of-pearl craft with the guidance of local artisans, take a relaxing walk along the scenic Moontan Road, and unwind with a traditional Korean tea ceremony and meditation session. After enjoying an authentic Korean dinner, end your day with a magical moonlight walk along Dalmaji Road while carrying a traditional Cheongsachorong lantern.

This experience is not simply about arranging flowers, but about understanding the deeper aesthetics behind them. Rooted in the concept of Seon (line), you’ll explore how simplicity, balance, and intention shape each composition. Set in a quiet teahouse, the experience offers a calm and intimate atmosphere that encourages focus and reflection. It also concludes with tea, allowing you to gently transition from creating to a state of calm.

Craft a personal piece of Korea in an intimate, small-group workshop in Busan, lasting about 90 to 120 minutes. Guided step by step, you will create your own Korean lucky charm inspired by the traditional norigae. Choose the norigae color that reflects your wish, as each color carries its own meaning, then design a shimmering pattern with real mother-of-pearl on your acrylic base and personalize it with beads of your choice. Every element symbolizes good fortune, beauty, or longevity, turning your charm into a meaningful keepsake. Take it home in a gift box, a small reminder of your peaceful moment in Korea.
