In the hustle and bustle, I never get around to printing the shots, and here is a beautiful commemorative souvenir that you can put up at home right away. The medal also became a great memento of conquering the wall. Lunch at a restaurant: Mike's recommendation to have lunch at their restaurant with a buffet was the perfect decision. Unlike the questionable street cafes around, here there is an excellent selection, a European adaptation of dishes (without excessive spiciness), and the opportunity to try things I haven't gotten around to before. We had a big breakfast in the morning, so we went to lunch not at 12:30 before the climb, but around 3:00 after the descent—and it was on time, incredibly delicious and filling. Compared to the crowded fast-food spots outside, the buffet was clean, diverse, and well-tailored for international guests (not overly spicy). Since we had a heavy breakfast, we skipped the 12:30 PM slot and had lunch at around 3:00 PM right after descending. It was timely, fresh, and deeply satisfying.
