What are people saying about Bali

I had a great experience...
I had a great experience on this tour. It was a private tour with transfers to/from my accommodation and then a fast boat to Nusa Penida. Both my drivers Yogi (in NP) and Yasa (in Bali) were very friendly and great drivers. I got to see all the places I wanted to in NP and it was a very good day.
I would recommend bringing extra water as the first car I was in had water bottles, but when I got to NP that car didn't. It's also helpful to bring a powerbank/charger as you will likely be using your phone a lot throughout the day.
It's worth noting that depending where you're travelling from, the safety standards for boats may be different- the boat provider used from NP to Sanur had limited lifejackets.

Thanks Yus!
A great (long) day to see Bali and incredible views from Mount Batur. Our driver Gede was very kind and navigated us through Bali’s roads safely. The highlight was our guide Yus, who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and made us feel safe during the climb. The climb is challenging, but the reward at the top is worth it and Yus took us to all of the best spots before the crowds got there first.
We stopped at Akasa Cafe on the way back - apart from the views, it is not memorable at all. Thanks Yus and Gede!

Stunning views and challenging hike
We both loved this tour. The stunning views in every direction really make it worth the challenging but short climb. You gain about 3000 ft in elevation. I definitely recommend wearing sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers for the loose volcanic rock. They help you with everything from the hike to even giving you a hiking stick to borrow. Definitely wear layers as the hike is warm and you will sweat, but it is rather cold at the top. Our guide took us to a natural steam vent that warmed us up. Breakfast includes hot coffee, tea or hot chocolate, a hard boiled egg and a banana sandwich. I believe you can stop at restaurants as well. Definitely get the hiking stick. If you struggle with the climb there are helpful dirtbike drivers who will assist you for additional cost. Bring a dry pair of clothes, swimsuit, and flip flops for the hot springs which are very nice to relax in afterward. Beware fly’s at the hot springs. There are changing areas there. Our driver Gedey was amazing at navigating the mountain roads and let me sleep in the car. Our guide took nearly professional photos us. Such a great memory.

Driver Cok is the best!!
I really recommend this tour I went to Nusa Penida in April, and our driver, Cok Cok, took me and my friend around the island to every beautiful spot. I was really impressed with him because he was so kind and helpful. He recommended great places to take photos and even helped hold my bag while I was taking pictures.
The roads in Nusa Penida are very narrow and rough, but he drove very carefully and skillfully, which made us feel safe during the whole trip. He also took good care of us the entire day.I truly recommend this tour and especially Cok Cok as a driver if you visit Nusa Penida

Swings and Things
It crazy how I had so much fun with the guys there. My adrenaline was so high I’d gotten nauseous lol. The guys gave me a birthday shoutout and we had great time on the swings. Loui, was my fly guy and he kept my momentum going and help peddle the sky-bike with me. Such great energy here. I mean, it was so hot I damn near collapsed smh. There are many stairs throughout the courses though I realized how out-of shape I really am. Nevertheless, my experience with these guys/ girls were fantastic. I went on a Monday so it wasn’t crowded and there was no rushing. Great overall experience.

Driver Agus made it so worth it!
Had a beautiful time with driver and guide Agus from Hire Bali Driver. He was very knowledgeable about temple history, as well as the rice terrace history! He gave us facts throughout the drive; not so much to overwhelm us with information but just enough that we retained and had fun while traveling. Many of the temples on this list are more of a social media hit list; many tourists and crowding. This takes away a bit from the “special” moments at the temples for the tour. We booked the tour more for the rice terraces. Luckily Agus already knew this and arranged the driving and sightseeing so that we saw the temples while avoiding traffic (ie avoiding Canggu after 12 pm). Agus also offered an alternative to the last temple- the largest butterfly park in Bali that was on the way to the rice terraces! SO glad we skipped the last temple to see the butterfly park. It small and very peaceful with minimal amount of people; exactly how you imagine Bali to be. The temples were okay; again definitely more for the ‘gram than anything else (and those pics are also dependent on the weather). It also wasn’t super important for my boyfriend and I, so the switch to the butterfly park was a no brainer. The rice terraces was also absolutely amazing and worth the drive. A bit more remote and quiet, which is what we loved. Added to the vibe of seeing native Bali butterflies/moths/insects up close and personal. to top it off, we arrive early back to our hotel; a request from us that Agus was able to accomplish! Made the tour worth it as we still had half a day to ourselves. This tour and what you get from it is ultimately up to you; we loved the flexibility, and Agus’ knowledge and disposition made it so worth it!

Highly recommended
Our private tour of North Bali was a very good experience. Keep in mind that if you really want to see all attractions on the list, you will have to leave very early in the morning, return quite late in the evening and spend most of your day in the car. It is a matter of distances and to some extent traffic. I would suggest customizing the itinerary to your schedule, available time (back for dinner?) and expectations. In our case, removing a couple of stops from the list was not a problem as we had been to Bali before. Our driver and guide Dewa turned out to be very informative, pleasant and flexible. He spoke good, clear English, drove safely and maintained good communication lines with us on WhatsApp before the tour. His car was clean and comfy. Overall, I would highly recommend both the tour and Dewa specifically.

Amazing day
Great way to see the city without a large group. You can enjoy Ubud at your own pace. I would highly recommend this excursion. Mudana was punctual and polite and Yuli was the best. She tool every picture, climed every step, and helped us get dressed and all. Great day in Ubud!

Great Tour of Uluwatu TEMPLE.
This is a great tour. The driver Mr. Ketut was excellent. He was a good driver, friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend this tour. I will add that the distance between the Uluwatto Temple and the Jimbaran Dinner is quite far. Better communication regarding the time it takes to get from the Temple to the Dinner would be helpful.
Other than that the tour, and the driver are great.

This is the tour you want...
This is the tour you want if you wanna experience a variety of sites in and near Ubud with a knowledgeable Balinese as your guide. The weaving and metal works wasn't my thing but I had a great time altogether. My guide Arya was very insightful which also helped.

Lovely walk through the...
Lovely walk through the rice fields of Sidemen. Beautiful authentic rural bali scenery. You don't get this sort of experience sitting around Kuta, Legian, Semenyak. Our guide was very friendly and informative. Walking was not taxing but you have to watch your step when navigating the rice fields. Make sure you stop and look up regularly to take in the scenery, or all you'll remember is the narrow pathway in front of you.
Be aware the trek end point is some 3 km from the start point with no arrangement to get you back. If you have a driver get them to meet you at the end point or use the Grab app to order a ride.
I recommend this activity.
